I don't think the pulsing orange light is specifically a 2.0 problem. I've had it in the past a couple of times to the point of never using standby anymore. Saves on the electric bill too.

I'm amazed no-one had mentioned THAT scene from inFamous Second Son. That tore me up something rotten.

Flipping between Bravely Default and Crimzon Clover currently, now with some Hyrule Warriors thrown in.

I literally do not know anyone who thought the 'improved' hangman's gambit to be anything other than awful. The new mini games took some time for me to get used to, especially Rebuttal Showdown as the tutorial explanation really falls short. I had to replay that bit so many times before I figured out what the hell to do. Logic Dive...eh. Agreed on the final chapter being pretty out there but unfortunately I did see it coming. Its hinted right at the very start of the game. DG1's twist caught me off guard way more. That said, still loved it. Oh and please tell me 'that' scene in chapter 3 freaked you out too. Playing that bit alone in the dark was unpleasant.

Hyrule Warriors for £21 at EGX. Bargain.

I'm trying to find a reason to finish watching the first series of OITNB and so far not finding one. Me and the other half starting watching it on a whim some 3-4 weeks ago and binged through about 7 episodes before calling it a night. And despite enjoying it at the time, I'm not feeling a need to keep watching. Which is odd because most of the characters are great. The American Pie lad is a standout for me, oddly enough. I personally think though it's held back by revolving around one main character (who's pretty unlikable to boot) and would be better suited to a Bad Girls style format (one for you UK folk).

Crimzon Clover. It's one hell of a bullet hell shmup and I love it.

I've been advised that updating the BIOS might be a good idea before looking internal so I've done that but if that doesn't work, I'll start fiddling with SATA ports.
-
Thanks, I'll give that a try as soon as I can and see if that resolves it. It might take a while but I'll report back either way.

It's an OCZ Vertrex 4. I'd be surprised if it was the ssd as Speedfan ruled it as 100% ok. But that said I've no knowledge on these things so I'll accept your suggestion. Worth trying a different port on the mobo?
-
Yeah someone on Twitter suggested power supply but I can't imagine it's that. The computer is still ticking over in some aspect or another just not responding. I'd be a bit miffed if it's the mobo as its fairly brand new and for that matter the hdd is only a year or so old. Any way of checking either/or?

I'm having issues with a pc I built approx 2 months ago and can't pin down what the problem is. Basically, every so often it just up and freezes entirely. No mouse input, can't ctrl+alt+del, nothing. I can't confirm for all occasions but last time I noticed the HDD light wasn't blinking and was off entirely. The annoying thing is it only happens once every couple of weeks. Initially it was every 2 weeks roughly but the last crash was after about a month of ok usage. If I had to guess, it happens after a long time of usage during the day. I've ran some cpu monitoring software and from what I can tell, its not overheating and seems to idle and cope under load pretty well. Drivers could be an issue but wouldn't know where to start. I appreciate without a parts list this isn't very helpful and I'll update once I get home but just looking for initial impressions right now.

One would think the obvious answer is to simply get out of the pool.

Finished Danganronpa 2 the other evening. Somehow managed to be madder, darker, funnier and downright disturbing than its predecessor. And yet, doesn't quite edge out the original for me. Superb game tho.

Juggling my time between Bravely Default and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. Choosing which to focus on feels like Sophie's Choice at this point.
