Origin ended their "Preorder Mass Effect 3, get Battlefield 3 Free" promotion 3 weeks early. I'm barely surprised.

In their defense, it really was too good to be true, but they shouldn't have started it if they couldn't follow through.

Phew. Had I known about that, I might have actually been tempted to get both. Origin is why I haven't bought BF3, and will probably means I won't ever play ME3. Meh. Moderately disappointed, but not installing any game that gives carte blanche to a company to snoop around my computer.
