I hope I'm not being a dick bringing this back to the OP but I can't read through 6 pages right now and something bugged me in the OP, stop reading now if this as already been discussed. "Let me put it in gaming terms. One man creates a game that requires you to navigate a treacherous path filled with challenge and mystery. The other man creates a game where you simply have to turn it on, and you are suddenly the winner without any actions required. What would you care about more?" I'm sorry but this is stupid on so many levels. The difference between a game and life is that one is designed for fun, the other...is life. You don't want to turn on a game and instantly win because you want a challenge but you want a challenge in an environment where failure is OK. Life on the other hand is FUCKING LIFE. Failing in life can equal death, game over, permanently. Comparing an environment designed for fun and with consequence free failure to REAL FUCKING LIFE is silly, they're not similar in the least. Again, sorry if this has been posted already.

End of FFX, end of Crisis Core is it to my memory. Both fantastic games. Not sure I was really crying at either but I certainly got a little misty eyed.

I've still yet to beat P3P >.<. I'm like 6 days away from teh 31st but I don't know how much grinding I need. I think all my main characters are in their 70's...The problem is my Personae aren't great. One of these days I'll beet it but I've just got no motivation atm.

First of all: Crisis Core. If you get no other PSP game, get Crisis Core. Probably one of my top 10 all time games. Others to get are P3P, Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, SSX On Tour, Peace Walker and Gran Turismo. Probably missing a bunch but...

FFT: War of the Lions has always been a favorite box art of mine. Love the art style. Edit cause first one was broken. This is the Japanese art which is essentially the same as NA art. Cuts off a bit of bottom, but mostly intact.

Giant Bomb is where I go when I can but being a small team they don't review everything. Jeff Gerstmann's probably the most candid reviewer out there though, imo.

So I wonder why Haruhi got so popular. They broadcast the entire first season of that show in a completely random order. Maybe Japan is more willing to put up with shit like that. So question then. By the end of the first season/movie is there any kind of closure at all or will I just be left hanging?

So I think the general buzz around Firefly and my boredom convinced me to watch the first episode last night and then somehow, most likely through dark magic, Dean convinced to come back here. First episode seemed really good, really promising. My initial thought was "How the hell did this not find an audience?". Dean tells me they aired the second episode first, so maybe that's why, perhaps the 2nd episode has a huge drop in quality, we'll see. One thing I really liked about it was that it wasn't the typical version of space we get where everything's clean and shiny. Shit's dirty, the people are dirty and even the western style music gives it a bit of a dirty feel. Made it much more interesting. Also I was sad when I thought Kaylee died D; Also fuck you Heartless, I love HAWP and hadn't seen that and now I know that Book dies...Fuck. 13 hours of grinding? but...why. nyx was a pushover at 80ish, maybe half a challenge at 70's, i can't imagine how much easier it would be having full control over all the party members though My main party is like 78 right now...that's what I was saying, I had no idea what level I need to be and didn't want to be underleved.

Question. My PC is kinda shit, I could probably run it but not as well as on my PS3. I know the PC version is superior control wise but is it still a good game on PS3? I'd like to pick up the GOTY edition or whatever the one is that comes with Origins +awakening

Not entirely true op. My main reason for raging so far is that it's different than old SSX and no, not just in terms of style but in terms of actual gameplay. The SSX facebook page specifically says there's courses on mountains all over the world which is what dissapoints me most. The one mountain many course layout of previous SSX games what made them so cool imo. So is that a fair complaint or am I just not giving the game a fair shake? Also what are you talking about with On Tour? That game has an 80 on metacritic, not great but nothing to scoff at. It's probably my favorite game in the entire series. Best course design, best style, best music. The only problem was changing grabs from shoulder buttons to right stick.

Currently playing Blops Multiplayer, waiting for BC2 vietnam to come out before I play more of that, P3P (Stuck halfway through January. So close but I need to do literally like 13 hours of grinding). Getting RDR and NV on tuesday so I'll be playing those as well. Oh and a little gt5 on the side.
