I don't know if there's a thread about this or if one should be made, but what do you guys feel about the topic of representing a statistical minority consumer more often in video games? Example I recently saw a woman complaining she didn't get to play Dishonored as a woman so she wasn't able to play it exactly as she wants.

I feel like there should be more games starring women, different races, and LGBT people. However, it can't be something you just throw in there; it has to fit your world. In Dishonored, the world recalls past periods of our own time, and women weren't allowed to do the same things men were. In that way, having a female Corvo just wouldn't work.

I saw that thread on Kotaku too, WaS.
I hate to be the one to tell you, but you, along with the rest of those people, got trolled pretty hard.
Basically, she insinuated it was sexist for there to be a male character in a work of fiction.

How did I get trolled? I simply agreed with the guy that said he's tired of statistical minorities saying they want to be represented more often.
