Yeah, I knew it wasn't Pixar, but still, Cars is 7 years old, you'd think Disney could manage to match that technology and not make this one look like a cheap sunday morning kids show.

Upon further research I see that Planes was originally intended to be direct-to-video, so that might account for it.
