    My PS4 is mainly used for Crunchyroll and Netflix. I'M PART OF THE PROBLEM. My friend let me borrow ACIV but I'm so lazy to start such a time sinker.

      Last gen systems still have massively larger install bases. I get that PS4 users are probably starved for games right now but is an HD port of a Vita game really what they bought the PS4 for?

      No, it's not but if it's coming to PC why not next-gen as well? Especially considering how PS3/360 software sales have declined so much since PS4/Xbone launch.

      Same reason why I think releasing South Park, Final Fantasy XIII-3, etc etc on last-gen systems is a mistake. If it's multiplatform anyways, take the time and bring it to PS4.

      It's not a mistake when you take into account install base and how close to release they are. Adding/changing platforms isn't exactly a trivial process.

       

      I honestly don't get the attitude of not wanting to buy a game because it's on a last-gen system. You still own that system, don't you? I really doubt being on PS4 would improve South Park all that much...
