Freaking creator of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo is making a new anime after a long time, and it's a god damn slice of life anime. I'll watch it, but fuck me sideways I hate slice of life.

I don't watch enough anime to get what the term means. Examples or an easy explanation?

Hmmm... I DO love Nodame Cantabile. And FDS, Slice of life means an anime usually revolving around real life situations. Specifically they usually revolve around girls and boys in high school facing problems like dating and homework and boys and dating and eeky eeky things.

There are a few gems. Whether quality wise or dealing with stuff other than dating, but over-all the new wave of anime has been forcing them on us and I was hoping to see something new.
