    If my new laptop's graphics card is not integrated will I be able to upgrade it to something like a geforce 7800? Or do I need to do more research?

      Very few laptops if any have swappable GPUs. I'd keep looking.

      I'm not really current, but when I last checked, your options were pretty much limited to cards made for that laptop. For instance, I have an old Dell Inspiron - I could have like, 2 nVidia cards or an ATI, but they only worked with this laptop...
