Finally...tomorrow we move. The rent is going to kick my ass, but I'm still looking forward to having a bit more comfort.
-
Home or Office? If it's home good luck. In the process of a move myself should be in the new place Monday. Office move comes later in the year
-
Home. A desk change may come at the office, but that'll be it for now. We've just had most of the furniture delivered, it's now the tedium of moving the cloths and nik-naks. But it's all good!
-
Glad to hear that
. I'm in the process of packing. Some new furniture and stuff will arrive on Monday and Tuesday. It'll be really nice to move and be sorted in
So I can understand it totally. Glad to hear it's going good

Square-Enix's virtual joystick/analog is complete dog shit. It makes Chrono Trigger play like a bag of asses.

I learned my lesson with Final Fantasy 1 on iOS. Then I learned it again with Secret of Mana. Fortunately, I only have to suffer twice to actually remember my mistakes. Never again, Square Enix. Unless it's Final Fantasy IV or VI.......

It's not like these games (not counting Mana) have action sequences...
-
It still impacts the enjoyment.

Where's My Water? Is a pretty cool game, I wouldn't by it, but 20 levels for free, that's okay. I thought I'd had enough of these kind of puzzlers, I guess not...

I have to shave my holiday beard tomorrow...

Tonight for me. Sadface.

I have to shave my holiday bread tomorrow... Maybe there's a limit to how many times you can re-gift fruitcake... hmm...
-
I had to shave mine a few days ago, thanks to a small amount of aboriginal ancestory via my mom's side of the family, my beard comes in all patchy (either that or I'm not very manly...).

So, Tribes Ascend...it's not my cup of tea at all. It's like Halo on steroids (I don't mind Halo though). The jetpacks make for ridiculous, but ultimately frustrating play in my opinion. I only played 6 games, and enjoyed it in spurts, but it's just too unstructured for my tastes. I can see the appeal, but as I said; not my cup of tea.

Anyone in the Tribes Ascend Beta?

Thanks for the invite btw, Dex.

I'm just wondering if there was a plan to throw together an event for some point. (Since I've re-read what I put and it reads a bit harsh
)

I'm limited on time, and cashflow, so my gaming has been...well...limited, so I'm going to be watching some "Let's Play" stuff. I watched some on Xenoblade Chronicles, that game is very pretty, but it reminds me loads of Rogue Galaxy. Anyone play the both of them?

I always wanted to try out rogue galaxy, never got around to it.
-
You should try and pick it up, it's aged well due to the graphics style, and it's still unique in the JRPG genre to keep it relevant.
-
Played both. I recognize the artistic similarities. I love them both, but I prefer Xenoblade of the two.

The Vita buttons and d-pad are so small! And the analogs feel a little loose, and close to the d-pad for the left one. That said, I've yet to play a game on it, but I think that the PSP's d-pad and buttons felt better.

I just held it like a NES/SNES/PSX controller - fingertips underneath, palms off. The newer "piano black" ones aren't confidence inspiring, but I've never fumbled it while playing.
-
does the vita hook up to your TV and a PS3 controller to play on your couch or something like that? or just use the vita with a TV?
-
@fuchikoma: yeah, when I did that I always felt like it was sliding down out of my hands, so I'd have to use my pinkies to brace it, which then made the outsides of my hands start to hurt after a while.
