The stupidest thing I've seen all day... was on Kotaku. What a surprise. "To this day, SC2 is still the best fighting game ever made. No game since has eclipsed it. Here's hoping they can recapture the magic of 1 and 2."

It was that last part that really irked me actually
I agree with SC2 not being as good though. As for Capcom, I think it's a thread for itself. SF2 basically did what WoW did for MMOs, only with more impact since the industry itself wasn't as advanced as it is now. SF2 combined a lot of pre-existing elements from various takes on fighting games by combining them into something... hm... I wouldn't say playable, but rather "fun". It did define the genre from there on. SF4... -
Well, crap, I wrote a wall of text and the status thing shortened it... Ghah, I'll make a thread about it someday and talk about it there. I like talking about this topic.
