I was looking for a website, where they compile video game stories so you could read them instead of playing through them again (because that takes a lot of time). I found this YouTube channel.

well of course they do, details is what would make it an hour long if not more. What I do nowadays if I want to see a game's plot in its entirety without having to put in the effort of playing it is seeing the game's walkthrough.

You could also visit the game's individual wiki, those usually have more detail than Wikipedia does.
