There should be a 10 second rewind button on every video player app on every phone. Scrubbing is one of those "cool we can do this on touchscreen" things that is actually really not that good. Some go crazy with a 30 second button, but its way better than scrubbing.

Scrubbing does totally, totally suck. It would work a lot better if they added a little graphic, like a vertical bar below your selection, showing how quickly the scrubbing rate is set.
