I have a very strange issue with iTunes. It freezes for a few sec every time I increase/decrease the volume or pick some tracks to play. completely uninstalled it, manually deleted everything. Installed it and everything was fine, left it running for a few hours then the problem is back.

I've used it before, but wasn't compelled to keep it. I think I mostly had it as a transcoder for a little bit... but I need iTunes for syncing my iPhone with minimal hassle anyway. The only problem I have with it is sometimes in CoverFlow view, if I run a fullscreen 3D app, when I come back the cover view is gone - but it comes back when I switch view modes, so it's fine.

I used Winamp for like... 10-12 years as soon as it replaced the early Windows MP2 players. I got iTunes to support an iPod Touch and after a little while I found I was just playing stuff in iTunes because it was easier. Never thought it'd happen after seeing SoundJam MP and Musicmatch Jukebox (1999), but... there you go. It happened. I just use other stuff like The Godfather for mass tag editing.

Well the issue resolves itself when I run iTunes in safe mode. But comes back whenever i run it normally.
Oh well. I can live with that. I actually don't want any plugins anyway.
