  1. That was the conclusion I made but never got around to testing it... not the easiest button to access.
  2. I am puzzled at a lot of the choices made with this game. If it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind... I will agree that the BC2 server browser was pretty horrible, but I always contributed that to my sometimes shoddy internet connection rather than the game (but now i know otherwise.) That the game crashes when you disconnect from a server is a very jarring experience and more times than not made me think my game crashed. The game has caused my computer to crash once, but I think that's just my computer beginning to get a little weird rather than the game (but again might be both.) On PS3 - After having played about an hour, I'm still not sure what each button does... I only played as an assault, but I couldn't figure out how to spot players... I know it's Q on PC but no idea what it is on consoles. It doesn't help that button configuration lets you pick between something along the lines of Default, Alternate, Lefty Default and Lefty Alternate. I get what Lefty is getting at, but it doesn't offer any input on what alternate maps buttons as. It's pretty goddamn stupid. And I hope this is just a beta thing and will be addressed. EDIT: Forgot to add, overall I'm still a fan of the main gameplay experience, and interested in getting the game, but currently not at full price. Everything feels pretty tight (at least on PC.) I think the laser/flashlight/lens flare... in most cases looks incredibly unrealistic and weird... but as a gameplay balancing tool I understand why it's there but it needs some kind of tweaking (particularly the laser as others have suggested above.)
  3. Trying it on PS3 now... man maybe its just me, but I can't handle a console shooter that tries to do anything more sophisticated than Halo or COD on a console anymore. Everything feels so sluggish.
  4. You spawn, press escape and go into graphics settings. It's really shitty The game also doesnt seem to let you keybind commands to additional mouse buttons, and from what i could tell doesnt allow inverting flight controls.
  5. hahaha that's awesome xD Does sound like a troll, but then again there are wayy too many on the internet that are simply uninformed ("American developers"... I'm sure that many think that due to the game being published by EA for instance). I will agree that if Europeans are having a high ping in US servers they just shouldn't bother. And nice Swedish there Dean.
  6. Been playing the game for the past hour or so on PC... its definitely impressive. I however don't approve of the game settings only being accessible once you've been deployed... it's pretty stupid. I agree the controls feel a little floaty but nothing that bothersome. The graphics aren't as amazing as the videos suggest but that's also because I'm not running 2+ graphic cards or anything, BUT the game runs incredibly smoothly and looks better than pretty much every FPS I've run on my computer. EDIT: Anyone know the password for the Conquest servers? (Particularly in Europe)... I'm not sure if we're supposed to be able to get access to those or not... but I prefer Conquest over Rush thats for sure. EDIT2: nvm figured out the way to join the servers without a password Got it from a random google search: "Use Google Chrome as your default browser Start BF battlelog server browser Hit SHIFT+CRTL+J copy paste launcher.verifyPassword = function(game, gameServerGuid, plaintextPassword, callback) { callback(true); } press enter select server - don't enter a password - i.e. leave password field blank" And thats it.
  7. Yeah you might be right there... although the comics can allow this battle/struggle Bruce goes through to be an epic drawn out war... the movies can do the interesting thing of condensing the hero's journey and ending it all, and so soon. It does remove the quality the comic book character has, but then again its more realistic this way, it doesnt really add up for batman to have That many stories and battles fought xD.
  8. Yeah I would have loved to see The Riddler too. It is a bit amusing that they're calling it the "conclusion", how long has Bruce Wayne even been Batman at this stage? 2 years maybe? I wonder if the chanting gives away something new or if it's the same twitter tag.
  9. Thanks for the link, I also found that the trailer was in "HD" on the official Facebook page. This is in better quality though.
  10. I've played about 2 hours of it so far. I really need to read/watch a guide video or something because just like with Minecraft I find everything really intimidating. Don't know how to start/what to do.
  11. Agreed. I'm a pretty diehard fan... well sort of. I love the books read all of them from 4 onwards on the day of release and have been following the movies closely. When I read it the first time it didn't seem all that bad... but honestly it's pretty horrible. Yes. Especially the names. Not sure if I should bother putting this under spoilers cause we've sorta stated what it is already but ill keep up the etiquette and do so anyways
  12. Well the teaser is finally available for all to see, except not in HD yet. Doesn't give you much but it does seem exciting. Bane looks pretty cool, and the movie seems to be promising a pretty bumpy ride for batman's last movie. It will be very very difficult to top Dark Knight, but honestly it doesn't have to.
  13. Saw Harry Potter tonight, it was pretty good... It pulled off doing quite a few scenes very well. What didn't work was basically anything that didn't work in the book. I heard they refilmed that ending scene because pictures leaked of how they looked in their intial run, and they got horrible fan reactions. I doubt this is much better than the first attempt though. Regardless, good movie and the entire series is a great accomplishment, historic/groundbreaking even.
  14. False! I've played about 200 hours of it (possibly more.) The person below me has never played Flower.
