FFIX ending spoiler:

Hell yeah I hate him. (not really.) The person below me hasn't seen either the Indiana Jones movies or the original Star Wars trilogy (i've got a housemate here who hasn't. she's crazy.)
-
dammit can't post in full res. what does people use to upload pics, imageshack obviously sucks. originally got it from this deviant.
-
Admittedly not very well versed with the entire deal but I'm relieved it didn't go through. The person below me doesn't like me lurking around bringing deadish threads back to life.
-
Nah I think pancakes are often better. The person below me hasn't played Uncharted 2.

yes and yes, it sorta makes me feel like its lost in translation without the charm of bill murray and the quirkiness of tokyo as a backdrop. Also sorta spoiler regarding a certain cast member that i didnt know was in the movie until i saw him: The movie is very minimalist and it's worth seeing as i said if you're a coppola fan. The movie is a success in terms of achieving what it was she wanted to portray, she just didnt make it compelling enough imo.

thats what ive been told and i can nearly do it (in the campaign mode specifically) my fingers just havent got the ability to be precise enough to always do it right, i miss a few times and it all goes to hell.

Hmm interesting way of looking at it, if done well then yes it will definitely be a much more interesting love interest than Rachel Dawes or Vicki Vale. It's simply me not caring for love interests. Alas the movie has to have one and catwoman is the best choice (except for maybe Talia although she's again pretty narrow in scope.) -
hahahaha thats hilarious.

Somewhere. I get what Sofia Coppola was trying to do with the movie, I really do... I get it had to be boring for the message to be clear. That doesn't mean it made a very compelling watch. I still thought the movie was mostly a worthwhile watch, as a fan of her movies but it was still pretty bad. 6/10 at most.

Such an awesome game. I wish I had a PSP, or rather I wish the sequels had come out for PS3! I loved Marina too, she's the best sniper there is.
-
I really really REALLY want to play this game. Having revisited Flower the other day to test out the game on my new tv, the 5 of us who were in the room were simply stumped and ended up playing two levels for the sake of it. Didn't read your entire writeup because I'd like certain details to be unknown, but it sounds a lot like what I want it to be.
-
my mistake i mix those two names up. yeah I know it's the sister... still not much a fan of her but if she's a stronger character in the sequel I might just bite, she was very meek in the main game.

ah crap was so glad to see a thread on game of thrones to discuss it a bit, but havent read the books yet and im seeing that book spoilers are coming out... and dangnabbit there should really be two different threads one for the books and one for the series or something cause I did just spoil myself a bit >_< (i have myself to blame but still.)

Can't wait for this movie, the cast does have me a little worried as does the general notion that the third movie in nearly any movie franchise has for the most part always been shit. I can think of very few third movies that have been good but can think of many that have either been bad or not up to the standards of the intial films. The movies that come to mind: Alien 3, Spider-Man 3, Godfather Part 3, X-Men 3, Terminator 3... I guess not having the #3 in the title might be a good decision. What has me worried about the cast is how large it's gotten, but knowing Nolan he should be able to handle it well, he has in the past especially when you consider that some of these pedigree actors might only be used for much smaller roles than we might think (Ken Watanabe in Batman Begins anyone?). I'd have rather skipped Cat Woman because regardless how well Nolan might make her she's not anywhere near as interesting as the Joker and the movie might be better off without her taking up time. Again we'll see next year I want Nolan to prove me wrong. -
I've been enjoying this game quite a bit even if i get my ass handed to me online. I have found the final battle with Shao Kahn absolutely impossible however. I hate that mofo.

No idea what to think of FFXIII-2, on one hand I was a bit disappointed with FFXIII and feel they can only go up from here, on the other the new trailers and gameplay footage constantly focus on Vanille and a new character. Im not a huge fan of Vanille and thought the game would focus on Lightning which doesn't necessarily seem the case. I'm not entirely sure what I want out of this universe anymore, it feels like it was designed from the ground up to suite the story and gameplay style of FFXIII, I'm not so sure I want to explore that universe anymore considering that it all felt disjointed in the last game. Unless there's a large overhaul I doubt it will do it for me.

Bad Company 2 with my housemate... I suck at it though. Besides that started playing FFIX with a different housemate (her first turnbased rpg), and been trying out random games that i've bought off the steam sale (BTTF, Terraria, Jamestown)

having not played VI yet I can't really say where I'd place it... but IX will probably always be my favorite for me even if it might not be the best game objectively. With its timing and my initial play through in mind I can't find any other game better than it. I've started replaying it with a friend the other day and whilst seeing some of the flaws i overlooked in the past, seeing everything it gets right is pure awesome.

Got a DeathAdder myself, it's awesome in my book. I think both the deathadder and mx518 are the best mice in terms of price and performance for your average gamer. Nice to see most on here agree ^^

lol crap. I knew it >.< thanks for quickly fixing that up

Got this in the summer sale, it's awesome. Considering it was my first bullet hell game I thought I'd fail miserably but I've done alright... when I started sucking was when I tried to play it with a controller instead of a mouse, but I think it's just an adjustment thing. My game does seem to have something wrong with it however, when I fullscreen the game the framerate drops to a crawling 15fps. When I have it windowed it runs at a smooth 60, i've searched online but no one else seems to have that problem.
