    I'm going to stop playing Tribes before i start buying things. I don't need that pain.

      I bought the starter pack when it was half price there this week. After buying that, I was able to unlock all the classes and the 50% lifetime experience boost seems to be enough to allow me to unlock everything else I want. I don't know if it's worth it's full price though, at least if you're not that into it.
