  1. One of my favorite songs and one of my favorite movies together equals success! Well, in my opinion.
  2. So why you in this thread? Anywho just watched "Children of Men". It was a film that caught my eye when it came out but I never ended up watching it. It was on TV after that "top number ones" thing so I stuck around. My main issue would be that there's quite a bit left unexplained. I don't care for it not explaining why women are infertile, that's fine to remain unexplained. I'm meaning like why they got suddenly attacked near the start and also why Brightwall went to war the day after they arrived. Other than that, pretty good. I may be late with this response... but I loved Children of Men. Yeah, some things happen pretty chaotically (though explained here and there) but what really stuck out to me was the long single shot when they are going through the building in the war zone. So good. As for me, I too saw Amazing Spider-Man and felt it was a good reboot, more akin to the comics and with some well executed fight scenes. Other than that, really been going through the tv show backlog and rewatching a few things... but thats for a different thread.
  3. FF7 remake? No, KQ 6.5 please.

  4. Haha I didn't dislike it per se, just thought that hmmm could have been an mmmm.
  5. This is true. I'm referring more to the points where I lose control of all functions like saving because the game starts freezing the PS3 forcing me to reset the whole system. That's why I'm glad the game saves after each entrance.
  6. I love Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums is genius IMO) so Moonrise Kingdom is on this list. Movie opinions are so subjective and I'd go so far as to say that the audience you go with can make or break the entire experience. So, with that, Avengers = great, Snow White = meh, Prometheus = hmmm... as far as recent (in the theater) titles go.
  7. I feel bad that watching page views and comment counts plummet on Kotaku makes me feel better because it means someone's great plan to drown the community is backfiring. Okay, so I only kind of feel bad, if only because Kotaku used to be such a thriving place to hang out. I hate to see the editors fake banter and community involvement though; it makes me cringe. After all, they are just trying to make the comments overhaul seem appealing when you know they're biting their tongues.
  8. Just finished up Dead Space 2 and Alan Wake finally. Now playing through Fallout: New Vegas. Man is that game buggy, but the saving system is at least intuitive enough to start me moments before I did something most of the time. I couldn't really tell you where I am in it though seeing as how there are a million and one quests that I pick up along the way to finish a quest I started ages ago. I wonder if such a thing as Quest ADD is real?
  9. I like Fallout:NV but I let out a tear every time a new quest is added to my never-ending list.

I'm glad other feel the pain! I just keep discovering new areas and I have to force myself not to talk to people just in case they have an actual chore for me to accomplish. I must be doing it wrong haha

There are way, way more missions New Vegas but you will get to a point where it will start to level out. I say just pack 'em on. The missions send you all over the place so it's just best to go through areas like normal as you might have a mission that's relevant there.

Fair enough, I think I'll stick it out. Especially since Veronica punches everything to death and makes my wandering tolerable.

  10. I'm a glutton for holding onto systems... NES Super Nintendo N64 Gamecube Wii Gameboy PS1 PS2 PS3 Xbox Xbox 360 Genesis Dreamcast Mac iPhone I won't lie, if my paychecks allow for it I'll be grabbing the Wii U, PS4 and Xbox 720 eventually. I like to be well-rounded! Though, I've never gotten back into PC gaming even though I used to play the heck out of the Myst series, Starcraft, the Tomb Raiders, Kings Quest VI etc etc etc.
  11. Just beat Portal 1, Skyward Sword, Mario Galaxy 1 and now I'm going to begin my first Fallout.
