Every time an article pops up on Kotaku going 'Why don't all games have an [Adjective] Easy mode?', I try to empathize at first. I really do! But I can't.

Does it matter where they occur? A status update guarantees more people see it, a specific topic can get lost amidst all the info displayed on screen

It doesn't guarantee more people will see it at all, especially as they're gone in about 48hrs never to be seen or responded to again unlike a forum post. And forum topics get lost in what info displayed on screen?

Also the 83K entires of status posts are unsearchable, unlike the 93K in the forum http://forum.pressxordie.com/topic/1784-difficulty-levels-in-games/
