  1. Off the top of my head: Chrono Trigger Bushido Blade Warcraft III (for fucks sake, I don't like Starcraft!) Tenchu

  3. From what the guys in various videos are saying, they're aiming for the sky in terms of letting the player do what they want to do (in terms of moving around/attacking people). They mentioned (in some video I watched) that you could possess a guy, shoot his gun, stop time, walk him around in front of the bullet, unpossess/unstop time, and watch him essentially shoot himself (or do something similar by possessing someone, walking them off a high edge, and then unpossessing before they splat). Though I will admit this game had me at 1st person stealth, the amount of possible choices they talk about makes me a bit giddy (also, possessing a fish sounds like a hoot).
  4. Yay... my account for work expired, so I can't upload anything I'm working on to the server! And all the IT guys are on vacation!

  5. "Time to play some ME3" *servers are down* aw...

  6. Did someone mention 08th MS team? By far my favorite Gundam series (and I just love the military-style Gundams)... and I can't quite put my finger on it. I'd also recommend G Gundam, but only because its completely ridiculous, what with Gundams like the Canadian lumberjack Gundam and what not. Otherwise, I'll recommend people watch Durarara!, as I found it quite enjoyable.
  7. As I know I'll never defeat the pile of PS1 games I own (oh man, there are so many!), I might just go and tackle my Steam list. ... though with the upcoming summer sale, it may be an uphill battle. Braid, Cave Story+, Deus Ex: HR, Dungeon Siege III, Gothic 4, Half Life 2 - Episode 1, 2, Lost Coast, Hitman: Blood Money, Jamestown, Lone Survivor, Magicka, Neverwinter Nights 2, Night Sky ... and I'm tired of typing them all.
  8. Hands down my favorite song from any game... ever. This comes in at a close second.
  9. Second boss down in Deus Ex:HR. Surprisingly easy when you cheese them with the Typhoon.

The stun gun works really, really well on her. I just stunned her and then hit her with my burst fire shotgun, I think.

Yeah, it was the stealth chick.

My guy is built around hacking, with (at the time) 1 buff into damage resistance and maxed out Typhoon.

2 Typhoon hits and a round of assault gun and she hit the floor.

I spent more time trying to find her than I did actually killing her.

I just used the explosive revolver and shot like a madman. Mwaaahahahaha.

  10. Almost time to go home and play some ME3 multiplayer (XBox)! *counts the remaining seconds*

  11. I'm always up for some Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, though I only have an XBox 360.
  12. Yeah, one of the SFIV ones. I got one for about $20 when I purchased the game off of Amazon (also for $20), and I really only use it now for my PC emulation. The d-pad is so much better than the standard XBox one, its not even a fair comparison. That's exactly why I like it so much... Other than a slightly different button layout (or maybe not, I'll have to open my Saturn box and check them side-by-side), they're practically identical.
  13. Pretty much the only difference I noticed (and what you're talking about) is less Buzz Aldrin and more random woman instead.
  14. I'm good with an arcade stick... if its attached to an arcade cabinet. I'm terrible with one in my lap, on the table, etc... I need it bolted down and attached to something permanent, while I stand up and play with it (that should not be used out of context). I don't have the room/patience/resources to do such a thing, so a controller with all the buttons I need on the front was the perfect solution (thank you Sega).
  15. My only problem with the Duke came from when I used to use the Southpaw control setup with Halo, and I was pretty much unable to throw a grenade + run at the same time unless I dislocated a finger or two. Otherwise, I found it to be an acceptable controller (though I do admit the current XBox 360 controller is damn near perfect). Seriously... Maybe I'm only looking at it from a fighting game perspective, but the damn thing was perfect. And we won't talk about that analog deal they brought out... which, while serviceable, looked like it ate too much food at a buffet.
  16. Purchased my DC at launch... I wanted in on the Soul Calibur/Marvel vs Capcom, and stayed around for the plethora of Capcom & Sega games that made that system a fun factory of awesome awesomeness. The disk drive started to get a bit wonky later in its life, giving me read errors every now and again, but I believe it still works... Also, VMUs were ahead of their time, like a lot of things Sega made.
  17. That was the reason I purchased a Saturn back in the day... I walked into EB, grabbed a Saturn, Xmen Vs Street Fighter (which came with the RAM cart thankfully), some DBZ game, Bomberman, a converter cart, and two joystick controllers. In the end, the controllers were crap (and the default game pad was fucking fantastic), the DBZ games was moderately entertaining, Xmen vs Street Fighter was glorious, Bomberman was the amazing, and it took me a good year to finally get the converter cart to work without quickly swapping out the RAM cart for Xmen vs Street Fighter (turns out I was just too stupid to get it to work properly...) ... I'd plug the little baby back in for some awesome good times, but I already have Xmen vs Street Fighter on my PC, along with a rather good Chun Li wired controller... plus, the TV is like, way over there.

    Megaman

I was always pretty bad at the old Mega Man games... I could probably beat 1-2 levels of the original NES ones, and that was the extent of my skill. Later on, I managed to get a bit better, but I could never really get into the X ones. I believe I beat two of the games on the GBA with Zero (those were brutal), and I know for a fact I beat the first Mega Man Legends (but stalled out on the second one). Overall, I love me some Mega Man (my current pointer cursor for my PC is an animated Mega Man), but I'm generally bad at the games.
  19. My Steam ID is: http://steamcommunity.com/id/nipahnipah Because some ass got to Nipah before I did.
  20. Mass Effect 3 Sure, the ending [controversial argument here], but I enjoyed the game quite a bit, especially with the extended ending. Being able to finally end my Shepard's story was pretty cool overall... though I'm curious to see how they'll end up "expanding" (milking?) the series from here on out. And the multiplayer... That keeps me coming back again and again. Dragon's Dogma I have my problems with this game, and that is no lie. From overly chatty pawns, incredibly slow saving, wonky item drops (what's with all the freaking maces?!), and a fairly weak story, the game wasn't exactly 100% fantastic. However, what it did get right (combat, class skills, weapons/armor choices, upgrading items, giant freaking monsters, character customization, challenge) more than eclipses the shortcomings. ... and that would be the only games I've played that could be considered new. I'm just holding out for Guild Wars 2 and Borderlands 2 this year, and that's about it. edit: Oh, I completely forgot about Diablo III... Um... while I enjoyed it, I really only played it for about 2 weeks before burning out on it (though I did play it A LOT during those 2 weeks). With the server problems, the super ramped up difficulty in the later difficulty levels, and the imbalanced characters + stupid champion monster abilities, I can safely say I was 50% enjoying it and 50% cursing its name to the heavens.
  21. Side note: I know the Mecromancer is supposed to be a play on Necromancer, but I just keep seeing it as someone who romances mechs...
  22. That... that was a lot more checking than I originally thought it would be. NES > SNES > N64 > Gamecube (which I think I forgot to actually check...) GB (original, pocket, and color versions) > GBC > GBA (original and SP) > DS Genesis > Saturn > Dreamcast PSX > PS2 XBox 360 NeoGeo Pocket Color And my one regret was not picking up that Atari Jaguar and like, 10 games, that I saw at a KB Toys outlet for something like $50... *sighs*
  23. Only one other person voted for the Sega Saturn controller besides myself? I need to go drink this feeling away now...
  24. Currently trying to make myself play Deus Ex HR... not forcing because it's bad, but because I keep getting myself into the mentality of "One more match of ME3 multiplayer...", and then its time to go to sleep. Other than those two, its just a bit of Dragon's Dogma here and there, and whatever I happen to have on Steam that I never end up playing.
