  1. well, here it goes: this is more a list of games, I love for a multitude of reasons, they're not particularly games I played the most or had the most fun with (otherwise it would be a list of mario type games with a little bomberman and micro machines sprinkled in) - those are games that made me proud to be a gamer! 1. Castles of Dr. Creep my bro had a Commodore 64 when I was little and I was sometimes allowed to play. I always wanted to play Castles of Dr. Creep, because it was weird kind of 2-player puzzle exploration game or something. you just went through rooms and rooms to find all the keys to escape a castle full of mummies and frankenstein-monsters and totally awesome super laser turrets that'll follow you and shoot you dead. the fun part was, to use all those traps to your advantage! 2. We Love Katamari Katamari Damacy was the original with the crazy story and creepy cosmos girl, I just liked the gameplay more in We<3Katamari, and that's it. 3. Space Channel 5 Part 2 Space Channel 5 is a quirky game. I like quirky games! Part 2 just had a better soundtrack. also, only playing it in japanese because the engrish is magnificent! (btw, raver ulala in that striped outfit is totally hot!) 4. Demon's Souls aliens made this game, because no human can create something so perfectly divine! umbasa! 5. Super Mario World of all the Marios SMW is my favorite. I played it a shit ton of times, probably since its release (although didn't have a SNES until the late 90s, had to spend a lot of time with kids I didn't like, I'm such a gamer whore). just found out you can steer that coin snake thingie with you d-pad a couple of years ago. v_v 6. Dreamweb Cyberpunk just goes so well with the adventure genre, because the story should be the main focus. and if you add a melancholic synth soundtrack that just oozes atmosphere, you got yourself a hit! (puzzle-wise it's probably not one of the top games, but everything else is brilliant) 7. Day of the Tentacle does this need an explanation? I think not! 8. MegaLoMania sure, there are better RTS games with more content, but MegaLoMania has a special place in my heart, there's nothing more satisfying than nuking a bunch of cavemen just for fun! 9. Lemmings Lemmings + Amiga + 2 Mice + Unlimited Tools = 2 Player-Funtimes till you pass out from lack of sleep!
  2. I'm playing Treasures of Montezuma on my new Vita. it's quite addicting! even though, I still don't get how it works (crystals/bonus points thingie). I'm planning on buying Dokuro, anyone played it, is it good?
  3. yeah, I had one too. we were a big commodore family, started with the C64 and went on to Amiga 500 (for me, my brother had a 2000 - we had big discussions about the differences between his 1MB chip RAM and my 1MB fast RAM, I doubt any of us had a clue what we were saying). at some point I bought an Amiga 1200 but didn't use it much. I remember somewhen mid 90s we had a cd-track ripped on to 3 discs, to listen to this ONE song you had to change discs like every minute. ridiculous! and don't get me started on the 12 disc Monkey Island 2 version. twelve. discs. gah!
  4. I have the move controllers and they worked great in my old apartment (not a lot of room). but it was a bit random how and when it worked. my first playthrough of Datura worked like a charm! I could molest anything and everything it tracked my movement perfectly. on my second playthrough it got stuck a lot, even though, I didn't do anything different (distance was the same). *shrugs* so far I enjoyed Echochrome 2 the most, I was afraid because of the controls you can't speedrun it as I imagined, but at the end it was easier to do so than in Echochrome 1 (still don't get how they managed to finish 1st level in like 3 seconds??). but yeah, I bought the move mostly for lightgun shooters and most of them worked great (child of eden did not, though)!
  5. well, the white one got released in japan, so it's time to get me a vita. browsing play-asia I just found out the chinese version of dokuro is in english (or so they say) - lucky me!
  6. o hai! I'm fleeing from two sites actually. kotaku's kinja bullshit comment thingie and gametrailer's horrendous way of websiting. also, I feel like pocogrande needs help with the maneater. :B
