Same here, but my usual level of suspicion was lowered because I heard about it here. I trust you guys and this is what happens!!

I never felt I was risking anything. When I realised the codes had been taken from a giveaway that had already given away some of the codes that were leaked (and did so after the codes were leaked), I figured that Valve would be wise and say "We can't ban them all, we have no idea who's legit." and considering the time and effort involved in getting that information, I came to the conclusion that they'd just remove the game and be done with it. Luckily, I was right.

Oh that's as may be but I don't want to take a 1% chance when I have a couple of hundred dollars on the line.
