Why is hosting a Terraria server so dang hard?

Yeah, it needs better netcode. I haven't had to open ports for a game since playing SC1.

Ethan: uPnP ports on modern routers are usually good enough for playing a game without issues, but if you start trying to host a server, you're gonna have to open ports regardless of what game you're doing it for.
