I can't remember if Phantoms can see through cloak on Gold, but I know they ignore you on Silver if you keep your distance. Geth Primes can snipe from across the level with their cannons, but I think they prioritize visible targets if they're unobstructed. Quick note about Phantoms: if you don't have someone on your team who can stasis, you can cloak, move to a flanking position where the Phantom is taking cover and line up an easy headshot.

I wonder if the geth infiltrator's cloak makes it invisible to geth Primes.... that'd be really sweet.

imho(tep), I prefer Zelda => Sonic > Mario, even though I know Mario > Zelda > Sonic Grew up with a Genesis and then an N64. S3&K and Majora's Mask easily take best game from their respective consoles in my mind. Oh, and I voted for Sonic when it was Sonic v. Zelda cause I knew Zelda was gonna win anyway.

I can't bring myself to play turian or krogan sentinel. If I'm playing with a fellow sentinel, I use my human "Splosion Man" sentinel. We decide who constantly warps and who constantly throws. Coordinating targets and multiple biotic explosions galore That's on silver though, I usually do 2 salarian infiltrators and 2 asari (adept or vanguard, doesn't matter) on gold. The name of the game is tactical cloak headshots and revives, and biotic explosions with stasis on those finicky enemies.

I voted for GTA as well, but I didn't mention it because I already thought Portal was favorite to win. I don't know which loss surprised me more, Chrono Trigger's or SotC's.

I don't feel too strongly about the issue one way or the other, but for what it's worth, I really agree with Chuck Jordan and Dave Grossman.

I would completely get rid of What a complete waste of time (gameplay wise). Ok, in second thought, maybe not completely get rid of it, but at least change it so that it's interesting to play. Run, aim, charge, run aim charge, run aim charge. Oh? You charged it all the way? Great! Now do it 3 more times. Way to put a damper on my favorite part of the game.

Also, Vargras, you're totally correct, the N7 Crusader is the snipiest shotgun I've ever handled (except maybe the Mass Effect 1 Spectre shotgun). I'll stick to the Mantis for now, but it has been an eye-opening experience. @Ethan

As nice as it is to destroy people with score, I love competing with people who use the same class. One of my best matches was with two other infiltrators against Reapers on Benning. One had a Mantis VI and the other a Widow IV. As always, it took a couple waves for me to get my groove on. Third place when I checked the score early on. Around wave 7, I killed the last Marauder for ~500 pts and got into second place by 300 pts. I only checked the score again after extraction: first place with 52K pts, 3K ahead of second place. One day, I will get over 100K pts in a match. Got to 97K once with a "charge nova nova" vanguard on Silver. I'm sure it's feasible on Gold, but if I play with my buddies, they're too efficient, and if I play with randoms, I usually can't get to extraction.

I feel like if development wasn't so expensive, it could have had multiple endings like Chrono Trigger (there are already a few similarities between Trigger and the first Mass Effect), where you can get two or three endings based on your past choices and then let you try to take back Earth at any point in time in NG+. Then those endings show only the consequences of not doing what you were supposed to do next, with a few bonus endings that are just silly.
