    It's amazing how much faster my system feels with a new CPU and more RAM. No effect on gaming, so far, but Windows 10 is far snappier after my recent upgrade.

      Mine is also feeling much snappier, but I'm not sure how much of that is the upgrade and how much is that I did a clean install of Windows.

      Since my hard drives were fine, I did not do a clean install.

      I didn't plan to. Since I wasn't sure that Windows would let me just plug my HDD into the new board (esp since I was jumping from AMD to Intel) I did a sysprep, but that got caught in a loop on the new board so I had to do a clean install.
