Less than a week to Night in the Woods and less than two to Torment: Tides of Numenera, both very strong GOTY candidates.

They are not. See: Don't Starve. Klei made a conscious decision to not have achievements but they still had to add trophies when they released on PS4, so they came up with the most braindead trophy list possible lol. The Steam release still has no achievements.
Similarly, The Witness only has 2 achievements on Steam but something like 14 on PS4 because of arbitrary Sony policy.
