Nice progress! But still too many games left dude! I should play through my backlog too, though I don't have that many games, 2 of them are JRPGs that will take quite a bit of time to finish them So, here's my list: MGS: Peace Walker Persona Xenosaga Episodes 1 and 2 Atelier Rorona Record of Agarest War Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (Currently playing this, I'm on sequence 7) And a lot of Steam games

Original soundtracks? Or just soundtracks? Brutal Legend had an awesome selection of songs It's original score was good too. Aside from that, the MGS series has really good music, Halo too, and I like the style that the Devil May Cry soundtrack has. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBGaQq1GZH8 (Yeah, excuse the stuff that vid has, but it's kinda hard to find the OST on YT )

Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, Pokemon. Halo games are always fun if you have people to play them with, specially if it's more of a "let's go crazy and see what happens" thing instead of just trying to get an achievement or something

As much as I would like to say Sony or Nintendo thanks to their franchises and the time I've spent playing their consoles I have to go with PC. I started gaming on my consoles, but when we bought a PC I would just stay there playing Age of Empires or Motocross Madness, I also had Fifa '98 for the PC, really fun game. However, due to lack of budget, no good places to buy parts from here, and the fact that my parents had the "PC is for work and study not games" mentality I played mostly on consoles until last year, when I got a lot of games during the Steam sales and other stuff (thanks guys! \m/).

That's a lot of consoles dude! I own: N64 GCN PS2 PS3 PSP 3000 PC Original Gameboy GBA SP NDS I'm sure I have/had the NeoGeo one but I can't find it, it was probably lost when I moved a couple of years ago

DRM, Online Pass, Project Ten Dollar and the like
MetalCaveman replied to Yantelope's topic in General Gaming Chat
Not really a problem for me, I buy pretty much all of my games new, the only ones I buy used are for previous platforms, and therefore stuff like this doesn't affect those games As for DRM, Ubisoft was wrong in the way they implemented it, they're reducing the requirements for it and that's good I guess, but seeing as how I'm primarily a console gamer, and how, in all the purchases I've made for the PC I've never had any problems with DRM I should probably stay away from the subject -
Ridiculous due to time they take? Any that require you to kill a huge number of enemies, specially if they also require an insane number of playthroughs of the campaign. I'm proud of all the trophies I have in Demon's Souls Also, achievements that require you to play through a game using only one weapon or something similar.

Finally remembered the whole story behind my user/screen name When I created my gamertag for xbxo live I tried different combinations involving my name but all of them were taken so I went with Metal for the genre of music I like, and Caveman thanks to the song "Caveman Rejoice" by The Bags (I think it was in the first Guitar Hero?), and then, MetalCaveman was born!

I hope you're right, that would make it an awesome game.

Besides a new PC and a good mic: Just some anime box sets and stuff. Maybe some of the games I've missed so far. And a Dean VMNT or a Dean Razorback

I've been watching these vids: Not as scary as they should be thanks to the voice-over but still, I'm now interested in the game.
-
Nah, You're fine IMO. Personally, once a month is enough unless it's summer, then it's like every 2 weeks or so.

I'm interested in this game, the story sounds cool, and it also reminds me of Freedom Fighters.

New Fallout New Vegas mod gives the player a chance to hack Gawker networks! And all the words in the terminal will be actual passwords lifted from that article with the most popular ones or something

Not really, I will look at the bonuses the perk has, if it's good (as it has been mentioned, it allows you do to more damage to male characters which is really helpful) I'll use it, I don't care about the gender of the character I'm playing as, not even in RPGs. As for the Link question, that would be interesting, but it wouldn't affect me at all. @Chronixal I've seen some people do that, I find it quite hilarious actually.

I have a black cocker spaniel, I will try to post a picture later, we don't have any since she always runs away when you try to take a pic

Most Anticipated titles for 2011?
MetalCaveman replied to superfrogsavestokyo's topic in General Gaming Chat
In no particular order: Dead Space 2 (already have it pre-ordered ) Marvel vs Capcom 3 Bulletstorm Deus Ex: Human Revolution Homefront Brink Portal 2 Crysis 2 Resistance 3 Rage Elder Scrolls V Diablo III Duke Nukem Forever Gears 3 And I don't know if these will be released in 2011: Devil's Third NeverDead Shadows of the Damned Catherine I may be missing some, but that's my list so far, this year I managed to buy at least 1 game per month, not so sure about next year, specially since I plan to invest a lot on my new PC and I also hope to increase my anime collection -
Interesting, the thing I'm worried about is the fact that I have the same username pretty much everywhere, but so far nothing seems to be affected, also, I realized I had the same password in 3 or so sites Well, like Chronixal said, this was a wake up call, I'll be more careful from now on.

After watching it again today, I have to add Taken to my list, really good movie, some really cool action scenes and more, also, one of the only movies in that genre/style/theme I like.
-
Awesome! Now to wait until they release more trailers or something I didn't have a problem with the overall graphics in Oblivion, but the character designs were awful IMO.

Buy a PS3 so you can join us! What peaked my interest was the S.M.A.R.T. system, sounds and looks really interesting, I loved Mirror's Edge but I never got used to the whole "try to avoid battles and don't use weapons" thing, this game let's me move like that and also use a variety of weapons. Though I feel it's going to be one of those games that are relatively fun solo, but extremely fun when played in coop, which I'm still not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, considering that so far I only know 1 more dude who is buying the game

This confused me You know... My name is Daniel, people call me Dan, some friends from school used to call me that, yeah... Anyway, it's going to be a pain trying to remember all these new passwords and stuff.
