  1. Like I said: decision gets made for a lot of people the way they are born when they decide to join. It sucks and people get rejected for surgeries and/or stuff they were born with. People get rejected for all kinds of medical reasons. Decision isn’t being made for them any differently than someone who was told at Meps that their health isn’t good enough to be fit for full duty because he government isn’t gonna pay for their problems in the future, it’s free healthcare. What kind of research has been done on force readiness besides needing numbers and being undermanned? The only issue with what was done is the transgender people who currently man roles in the military, at that point hundreds of thousands of dollars has been put on a person for training . What I’m saying is definitely a reality though, if I were to go under any hormonal treatment they would say I’m not fit for duty and put me on a shore command doing paperwork. It is a reality and people need to realize there’s consequences to accepting people who need similar treatment in a critical environment where stress is a normal. They don’t have to ban transgender people but they would definitely need to make a policy saying that if you need hormonal treatment regularly then you can’t join without medical citation proving you already went through the transition. I mean not all transgender people are the same but to call it bigotry and not ask why they would implement a policy is a little weird don’t you think? Not all transgender people are the same but they do go through a treatment process.
  2. I find it impressive that he won considering he said all kinds of things people hated and despised. People wanted change and they definitely got it. Not good. Im just disappointed that he was the one that advised the transgender policy should be implemented because now people are calling it bigotry even though there is evidence that transgender people will have a tougher time in the military for medical reasons. You can’t just join the military to get free surgery and medicine, they should let people join but they should pay for cosmetic surgeries and their own hormones. The goal is mission readiness and all kinds of people are rejected for medical reasons because they need extra care in the long run. You can’t be out in the middle of a boat asking for hormones they might not have for a small percentage of the military population, and you definitely don’t have hormones for people in combat. There’s a reason why certain allergies aren’t allowed and military applicants get rejected, you can’t bring the hospital with you to the boat or many places you go Like I have to prove I’m fit for full before I go on my ship which means I need to go to medical and get cleared since It’s not like the ship has a doctor or dental. I have a hospital corpsman (who doesn’t have a degree but is qualified) to take care of me. You think a hospital corpsman is gonna know what to do with a transgender person who doesn’t have their hormones? It’s ok for transgender people to join the armed forces but I HIGHLY do not recommend it. If I had a friend who wanted to join and he was transgender I’d definitely be against it, not because I don’t want a transgender person to join but because the military world is not friendly to people who are “different” medically speaking. With trump doing what he’s doing people think he’s justness trying to be a bigot meanwhile there are serious and logical reasons for implementing a policy. It’s bad juju.
  3. The storage that comes with the switch is enough for most of the prominent games out because the switch doesn’t have that many good games yet (lots of shovelware Indy titles like the wii). I would say 64GB unless the switch magically has like 20 more xenoblade/Mario quality titles some how next year. It’s good to have it anyways though because the physical titles are not plug and play, if you buy physical you’re going to end up downloading 3+ Gb update probably.
  4. The stock dock isn’t a smart idea but the first thing I did (very first thing I did) was buy a sceeen protector for my switch knowing it would get scratched in the dock. The fact is dust and dirt gets trapped in there so if you slide in the switch that dust and dirt will scratch the screen even if properly placed and the screen probably isn’t rated that well. Make sure to use a glass screen protector though as plastic isn’t good with any heat really. Not to mention this guy isn’t replicating the way people got their switch warped so it’s very hard to tell. I do believe it is the manufacturer because everyone has different issues when loading memory from xenoblade 2 and some people don’t. Keeping the switch on for longer periods of times without blacking out could result in higher heat in other specific components on the circuit card which could cause a short or an open too so with these consoles bending it’s a bad thing. You can’t fix an ic chip which is probably what’s being used so they will end up replacing the circuit card for repairs, not good.
  5. Lol I don’t drink much even though I’m basically a part of that culture. I do like getting drunk at top golf though.
  6. Nintendo would be smart to make more accessories because it seems like you have to buy all kinds of things to get the best out of the switch. They’d make a lot of money if they had better accessories.
  7. The switch is really convenient it’s a good idea for people who can’t really use a flatscreen on the go but don’t want to sacrifice too much performance to play a game. I bought one for Christmas because I won’t have room carrying a monitor and a console and the switch is portable.
  8. Ended up getting the xenoblade 2 pro controller since they put more on amazon for $75 instead of buying from scalpers. I’m glad I waited.
  9. Exactly what Ethan said. Not a bad place but can’t wait to go to San Diego.
  10. Ordered myself a set for a card game called munchkin, hopefully it comes in so I can pick it up. Delivery is so slow on base though.
  11. Yes the left one got jammed and in order to pull it out I ended up nicking the plastic piece that sticks back in when the circle button is pressed behind the joycon. what this means is I can pull the joycon off he switch itself without pressing the button which is bad because that means there is a loose connection
  12. how I feel about tiger tiger, pretty accurate
  13. XC1 and XC2 are connected but they aren’t sequels. Can’t say much else without it being too spoilers but if you beat the game you’ll figure it out. Also XC2 enemies don’t scale, you just find higher level enemies or unique enemies to gain exp and smash to get cores.
  14. Hey just call me Hydrate. If you know what my username is alluding to then internet cookies for you otherwise youlll figure out later what that means if I stay around long enough. Im 21 and I’m currently in Norfolk but will be moving to San Diego and living there for the next 4 years.
