(1) Would you mind giving me a specific example of this? I’ve tried googling it but when I keep finding stuff like the word neo-nazi being thrown alongside koi carp, I think I rather have you direct me to one if that’s cool. (2) I think you're referring specifically to the Rand Corp's paper you linked previously. Well, although Trump isn’t specific on this, he does seem to fall on the side of “non-believers” meaning that any expenses here will always just get in the way military readiness for him (thus being fallacious comparing them with e.g. contraceptives). It as if a tiny speck of its vital budget would be spent on transracialism matters.

Sorry to bump this thread but, You can't just say things like that Ethan without looking at the whole picture. Not only there's the already complicated matter of women in the military and how it really affects them (please watch this and don't mind the title), there's also the fact that transgenderism itself is still a big sensitive issue with it being only fully supported by some psychologists as really a thing (the same "scientific" branch that branded not long ago homosexuality as a mental illness) and not much but not biology -- don't forget those other psychologists who point their alarming suicide rates to it being an diagnosed mental illness. The military is about the worst place to do social experiments, is it not? Whatever your beliefs here, calling Trump a bigot on a subject as exceptionally complex as this one seems highly unproductive.

If you're anything like your state then you’re indeed silly: Welcome! I’m also rather new here but this seems like a cozy – if a tad slow – place What games have you been playing lately?

I've been reading Adam Tooze's The Deluge, a really interesting one about how the USA checkmated the UK before the Great War, shifting who's daddy in the process. Also, I've just finished The Batman/Judge Dredd Collection! Not a big fan of the bat but I couldn't resist them badass 90's stories and Bisley's art: ______ BTW, can any one recommend me some great recent comics? I know Marvel and DC are a mess right now but I'm not really that up to date with any publisher anymore.

Regarding Hamill's comments: Are they? He seems to me to really dislike what they did to Luke and then, either because of him being a nice guy or simple damage-control, he backed off. Remember when he literally said he was shocked and disagreed with everything Rian decided about his character? Not saying that what you said is impossible but Mark writing a formal apology after the fact seems err... bizarre. About Luke: I see what you're saying but aren't you forgetting something? Luke IS hope. The first movie was named after him. No matter how much of a buffoon he was he always saw hope in people to the point of dropping his lightsaber in front of the biggest menace in the galaxy. His drama with Kylo was so out of character which, adding insult to injury, contrasted even more by the presence of a Mary Sue and a sudden Mary Poppins. ______ Well, with LJedi failing miserably in China Shy-nah!, having the largest first-to-second weekend box office dollar drop in history and the Solo flick still not having a trailer -- not a single frame shown -- when it's supposed to come out in just a few months, I'm not seeing Disney going for the IX any time soon. They'll probably start dabbling with Alien or Predator in the meantime.

Oh nothing much, just bending over for Sarkeesian and her possy when applying their "everything is sexist/racist" dogma would mean buh-bye to his favorite music genre and his games. ____ What do you think of Yngwie? For me he's godlike if he keeps his mouth shut.

^ Woah haven't seen that decade-old meme since... yeah. One unrelated to gaming: I've watched two episodes of Legend of Korra -- two too many -
^ Also featuring in that video: how arizonians do fracking.

What's the difference between white and black fatherthood?

@metalcaveman Tell me how much you've loved Brutal Legend and how sad it was to then watch Tim Schafer turn into a total hypocrite while I listen to the fitting 3inches' song Destroy the Orcs.

You either meant to say his dead girlfriend's naked body or you need to be in jail right NOW you creepy f*ck !! Although I think you'd have a powerful case if you said that it was because of the mind-altering drug known as suda51. Damn. Top this: Mom walked in on me while the infamous Candy Suxxx scene from Vice City started. And I was scratching my crotch. Longest 10seconds of my life. -
TEKKEN 7 I’ve been playing this all month and heck it’s painfully average. It added special attacks (appropriately named Rage Arts, this being the same game that keeps throwing at me a Majin Vegeta every 5 minutes), an underage Japanese idol and a slowmo thingy to please the stream-howling crowds. Screw this Rage Arts™. Not only it rewards players for playing badly, it completely brakes the flow of the game by having the character strike a pose not unlike America’s Next Topmodel. It sours the TEKKEN experience which, like the deep af Virtua Fighter series, was keeping its own flavour. There are also bizarre omissions like Lei and Zafina—probably too old for Harada—and the new characters did nothing for me, although Geese looks indeed tasty but alas it’s DLC. All in all, this franchise has seen better days. As the great philosopher JC Denton once said: “it’s a shame.”

Whatever their grievances are with Konami, I find it astonishing how Hideo Kojima seems to always get away with murder. You know, the same guy who was its VP since 2011? The one who finds it imperative to hire Hollywood actors with the company showing signs of being in dire straits? I dunno, folks can like his projects all they want that’s not the issue—me, I find him a complete hack and a plagiarist--, but all this selective outrage is getting into dangerous groupthink to even rival all that brown-nosing Geoff Keighley did not long ago.

For someone like myself who's played a lot of D&D in his younger years, that ominous tree immediately made me jump and grab my multi-sided dice in fear. Never owned a plant in my life but I had a blast reading this thread. This forum looks promising!

Zeus must be rolling in his grave, no patricide is as disrespectful as them sappy feefees over your average sacrificial lamb! Newish trailer: I find it sad that one of the last few AAA games that was unashamed of its mindless action-heavy violence right from the get go, is getting the Naughty Dog treatment of pushing up to narrative.
