  1. -All popular subscription-based games, i.e WoW and the like. -Minecraft -Call of Duty -Dragon Age 1 -StarCraft -Killzone (fuck patriotism, might consider 3 though) -Dance Dance Adjective -Social Network Games, i.e Farmville and such -Bejeweled -Gran Turismo (or any popular racing game) -The Sims matter of fact, I could just list entire genres -Racing (exception of Burnout: Takedown) -RTS -SRPG (grids) -FPS (I like TPS though) -Rhythm games -Party games -Card games
  2. @Smooves: I'm willing to give it another try, maybe we'll get lucky tonight. If not, I'm sure raine and I could alternate, taking turns in roofkilling you. I'm hopeful there will be a patch released in the near future that fixes this and the general matchmaking issues, though. @rtemplar: Do you have any other games with online MP? Perhaps we could test if we can connect in other games, this will shed some light on whether the issue is between our connections or that it's strictly an AC:B issue (which could potentially be patched)
  3. @Mud: If that was my desktop, I'd be in fetal position sobbing with every startup. I cannot stand desktop clutter. Anything over 2-3 folders activates the clutter-alert. I usually have nothing on my desk, nothing, nada, zip, no shortcuts, no nothing. Here be D-K's:
  4. Doesn't explain that I can connect fine too bags, smooves and you. It's the rtemplar/D-K combination that's causing problems. Obvious correlation would be location but I can't figure out how that'd be a factor.
  5. Also, here's the most helpful page I've found concerning my/raine's problem connecting: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/4721051016/m/8421043498 As it seems, my (and raine's) connection is not to blame, a number of people are experiencing the same problem, some of them on Xbox as well. Ubisoft has not adressed the issue, nor has it responded to the questions concerning this very issue on their own forum. There you have it.
  6. I think the trophy for chapter one demands you reach full synchronization throughout the chapter. I hear you on the shop quests, I've finished the game + at least 25 hours of fucking around and I still don't have that armor. Got the Brutus one, though.
  7. I've been wanting to see that, but everytime I feel like checking it out, I don't. I get the feeling the special gfx are terrible for some reason, what say you?
  8. The first pc game of Harry Potter is actually pretty fun, worth a download. Last good movie I saw? Fired Up That movie has me in stitches everytime. There is so much chemistry between the male leads it's ridiculous. I seriously laughed my ass off at this film. Also, there are chearleaders EVERYWHERE. How High I've also seen recently, very funny. Stoner humor, Method Man and Redman are great together. Iron Man 2 I thought was shit. Watched Ong Bak 1, 2, Tom Yum Goong and Ong Bak 3. OB1 and T.Y.G being the best. Press Start, the low-budget gaming movie was better then I expected. The budget consisted probably of a box of pretzels and buttons, but at least the jokes were fresh. Lots of references to 90s games; final fantasy, zelda, metroid, etc. I was also gonna watch this porno that was said to have an amazing storyline and great production values, but I forgot what it's called. I sometimes watch porn just to laugh at dialogue, the titles alone are often worth a giggle.
  9. I'm up for whenever, it's not like I have responsibilities or anything..
  10. 5 cats/the bag, oddly proportionate sword
  11. Blinus sounds like a brand of industrial cleanser, though. .. Blinus. ..
  12. Yeah. The only other thing I MP is Lost Planet 2, which works fine. Although Worms Armageddon doesn't let me play with a friend, but I contributed this to the fact that we "share" that game. I do not have Playstation plus, although it did have the little plus icon when I downloaded it. I registered for this beta a few months ago, I think.
  13. It kinda sucks, checked all my settings and everything's good. NAT type 2, connection speed is fine, I just have trouble joining games. Not just with you guys, but the "play now" function just takes me to endless loading screens. I may have 1 idea that requires a little work, but next time your guys're playing, I'll make sure to try it. DC Universe is awesome, btw. I'M RUNNING AROUND ON THE CEILING IN MY UNDERWEAR! WITH A CAPE!
  14. Well it's not all bad. Now we have shirts that look wet when the character has been in water. .. No wait, that's not all! It only looks wet in places where the fabric has actually been submerged in the water. It's true! I kid you not!
  15. Well, this one seemed stupid because of someone else. Heyooo!
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLsJyfN0ICU I've had this on repeat for the last 15 minutes. Apparantly, they're finding chests with Booty. .. D-K wants some booty

I'd probably have free-range chickens anyway, maybe a little shed for them to sleep, but I wouldn't want to coop them only to have myself clean a confined space with panicking chickens in it. Having said that, Brida.. if you're ever near my house and smelly chickens block your path, give a shout-out, we'll grab a motel. (Kanji's optional)
  18. Had the same with Star Wars Jedi Power Battles, on ps1. Think I've rented that shit at least 15 times. Only recently did I actually buy it and replay the thing on my ps3. It has actually aged relatively well. Oh ye olden times.. ye simpler times..
  19. Super Mario World The artstyle, 2d platforming, power ups, mounts, secret exits, mini-bosses/semi-bosses/bosses/big boss, world specific level design, optional sideroads, blockmods, life-sharing, level endgate with scoring mechanic, fairly sophisticated physics engine and lots of replay value. SMW was a complete game if there ever was one. Psychonauts Amazing variety in level design, gameplay elements, the most awesome sequences including, but not limited to: Being a godzilla sized character causing mayhem and destruction in a city of fish, an RTS segment on a playboard inside the mind of a Napoleon imitator in an insane asylum, and the FREAKING MILKMAN LEVEL OW GAWD THE AWESOME! I can review this game for at least 10 pages if I want to. Simply put, an amazing must-play game. The amount of humor, class and characterization is fantastic. Surrealism to the max. GTA Vice City Introduced me to sandbox mayhem. 'nuff said. Awesome cheats too. Zelda LTTP Best art style ever, amazingly smooth sprites, tons of equipment/weapons/items, fun dungeons, fun story, mirror world of the entire map, most recognizable theme music to any game, the cartridge was freakin gold. GOLD! Even the sound effects are instantly recognizable.. se's like the fairy cave or the bomb sound etc.etc. Illusion of Gaia/Time The story in this game is phenomenal. Phenomenal! It really introduced me to strong, accentuated narrative and plotpoints. Relationships between characters and innovative puzzle segments. This game is a cross between Secret of Mana and Zelda LTTP. other contenders for this slot were Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger/Cross, Earthbound. While all of those were better games, this one was more influential in terms of gripping narrative. Sesame Street's Alphabet Jungle Game This one introduced me to gaming, I can hardly think of anything more influential than one's first game. Donkey Kong Country Sweet sidescrolling platform action. This game introduced me to literally GORGEOUS background art, shading and fluid animation. Special mention goes to the soundtrack, the soundtrack is unbridled genius. bottled essence of awesome. Epic in midi form. I still listen to a lot of the tracks on youtube to this day. My favourite is JIB JIG, you should give it a listen. The mounts in this game were cool, the secrets, and the K-O-N-G mechanic in each level added replay value. Level design is on an entirely different scale than most 2d platformers from that time. Also, this game featured co-op AND versus modes as one of the first games. very cool. Tekken 3 A close tie with Soul Blade..but.. Where soul blade had an amazing soundtrack (youtube Bravery Folk - soul blade, try it), better character models, way more options and masses of weapons, Tekken 3 had a dinosaur and volleyball. I believe I've put in more time in the volleyball than the actual game, having said that, in terms of control, movement and moveset, Tekken was clearly superior to Soul Blade. Rogue Galaxy Influential because it merged classic rpg strategizing with real-time combat. This system is what Dragon Age is basically ripping off now. The game was freakin gorgeous, end of the ps2 cycle, more features than snow in canada, fusable weapons, pokemon segment and the story was fresh and original. This is the game I wanted WHite Knight Chronicles to be (again) but I was slightly dissapointed.. meh.. Honorable mention: Metal Slug series, no doubt I've spent to the most money on this franchise. Mostly because it was coin-op, but also because I steadfastly played this game at least once every day of every week of every month of my life I spent in italy.
  20. Sam and Max, eh? Will have a look. Thanks.
  21. Totally wasn't kidding. (Stock pic, not this exact one) @Ethan: I imagine you can fold it so it flips 180 and it touches the back of the phone. That whay there's no flopping. I also like how the inside looks like a diaper.
  22. I have not yet started it up, might be that I run into problems getting it to run, although I assume there are emulators available that'll make it run smoothly. Full Throttle ran perfectly anyway. Never played GF before, but I've heard good things and I generally really enjoy Tim's work, so I'm hopeful. Haven't heard of Devil's Playhouse.. worth looking into? I'm also totally fighting the urge to download Freddy Fish again.. Haven't seen it in 12 years, give or take.
  23. If you're not much for shooters then i would think that ME1 would be a better fit for you. The story takes a backseat in 2 for the most part in comparison, too. I don't own an Xbox and I don't want to play it on my laptop, I am thus limited to the sequel.
  24. Lustra - Scotty doesn't know (Eurotrip) Donkey Kong Country 2 - Jib Jig (metal remix)
  25. Mickey Mania on Super Nintendo (rom) I forgot what a great soundtrack and art style this game has. Epic Mickey should have been a remake of this gem. Also, the Steamboat Willy tune? Hypnotic. I've been jumping on this musicnote vomitting goat for 10 minutes and it has yet to bore me.
