    I don't see why it's so hard/embarrassing for people to admit on the internet that they follow a religion. It's like people assume that since you're religious, you're probably gonna start pushing your beliefs onto others. I mean a lot of you know I'm Catholic but I don't do that with any of you (COME AT ME, BRO).

      A major theological difference, to be sure, but I don't think it creates a large enough difference in the beliefs as to the nature of God as to say they worship different gods.

      But not all Christian belief follows that they are the same being though. That's kind of the whole point of the various denominations. Just general disagreements over who did what, n what part of the bible we should listen to etc etc. It's why you have some who believe the earth is a few thousand years old, and then others that'd be quite happy to baptise aliens.

      Dean: A deist is someone who believes that there is a higher being being that created us, but absolutely doesn't give a shit about us and lets us live our lives, ignoring our prayers and all that. Much like the gods in AsoIaF. Sans Rhollor.
