    So it's nice here in Chicago. It's only 38...then the wind blows and then it's fucking four degrees or some shit. Omfg my face hurts.

      When you live in cold weather, you can putnlaywrsnof clothes on to help. When you live in brutal heat, you can only take off so much.

      The town I live ins more central areas are built on a narrow peninsula with straight streets going from shore to shore. During January and February we often dip below -30C (-22F) before windchill.

       

      Also, regarding cold weather and clothes: there's a point where there's no practical way to shield yourself from every temperature without spending a fortune on clothes. -40 temperatures plus wind goes through fucking everything.
