    Pretty shameful that Martin completely did stupid shit with last night's episode. STANNIS BOARDS FROM HIS BOAT AND CLIMBS UP THE WALLS OF THE RED KEEP FIRST AND WITHOUT A HELMET ON. TYWIN'S ARMY CONSUMES THE BEACH AND STANNIS SOMEHOW ESCAPES SOON AFTERWARD. HE FELL TO HIS KNEES, HIS WOUND SMOKING, TEARS ROLLING DOWN... Wait. Wrong book.

    That Civ V playdate was great. I now have 70 minutes put into the game, where four minutes is actual game time.

      I'm not believing a two-hour run until I see proof.

       

      And even if it's true, it has absolutely no bearing on the game for an average player.

       

      Morrowind can be cleared in minutes.

      I know a group of four people who have played throughout the game with each other. By Thursday, they were through half of Hell and had stopped to listen to every bit of dialogue and watched every cutscene.

    The 360 pad fills my fucking giant hands and gives me good weight to back it up. I like the sticks, the triggers, and the buttons have never been a problem with me. I don't use the D-Pad often. I just can't hold a DS well anymore. Back when original DS was out, it fit perfectly for me. Now it's just too light and small. My thumbs crash into each other on the analog sticks and I can never get a good grip on the current L2/R2. The DS/DS2 were much better than the DS3. N64 pad has always been great for my hands, as well as the Dreamcast. The Gamecube controller, while it has a neat layout, is too small for my hands. With all that being said... The Duke is the only controller that I've never had a single damn problem with.

    I'm sad to announce that the final boss theme of Yoshi's Island is no longer part of my top two. ENTRY ONE! One of my favorite tracks (if not my favorite) has always been Halo 2's "Heretic, Hero." Whether you want to count this as part of it or not, but "Heretic, Hero" is actually an extended version of "A Walk in the Woods" from the first Halo soundtrack. "Heretic, Hero" got an extension in Halo 3, but it wasn't as good . So here's the link to "A Walk in the Woods." ENTRY TWO! I'm gonna go ahead and pick "Setting Sail, Coming Home" because it was just so well placed while having the game end. Great song. Now there are a few covers I've heard that I absolutely love. (One man cello band!) I feel bad about leaving Yoshi's Island out.
