    My PS3 Slim won't turn on. It beeps once if I press the power button and 3 times if I press the disc button. Any ideas?

      I had a similar issue with my PS3. I never figured out why it did what it did or how it fixed itself, but its all gravy now. I got really worried cause I have one of the OG 60 gig models.

      That... is really weird. I'd have figured it'd be a 2-way street and powering on the PS3 would activate the TV...) Good to know! *adds it to the mental troubleshooting file*

      ^I haven't tried swapping HDMI cords or making sure both are firmly in and not bent or anything.
