What is this? someone other than me has ubuntu? suddenly I don't feel so alone

I suddenly feel ancient. I remember when I was working on Novell Netware and Unix systems. Linux was out there we always had to compile the kernels ourselves and there were fewer stable releases at that point. I mean yes it works and was great. But when you had to compile the kernels a lot, manually fix desktop resolutions, etc, it wasn't exactly convenient. It was fun though. Linux today is far more user-friendly thanks to the several versions. I remember a guy who felt pretty nice insta...

I still spend a lot of time at the command line, it's just annoying random shit like this that bugs me.
