Just came across the recipt for my laptop and iPod. After MIR I paid $1,100 in 2006. This was when I was working two minimum wage jobs to get through college. What was I thinking? Both still work prefectly and are used daily FWIW ...

Yeah, buying an ipod is never a good decision.

Now that I think about it... I'm surprised yours still working since I've seen many dead ones from my friends.

Faib: I was actually buying the MAcbook and they were running a deal that essentially gave me the iPod for free.
Mal: Yeah, I don't know. At one point I thought the battery was going belly up but I just needed to charge it overnight. I take care of my things so it's not dinged up or anything.
