  1. I'm fine with difficult platformers, it's just SMB seemed difficult for all the wrong reasons. I found that the titular Meat Boy controlled awfully. I'm jealous. I would totally buy a PS3 just for that game.
  2. You can always use the right stick shortcuts, one online option or another lets you use them. Ragna is a pretty noob friendly character. Anywho, just bought DeathSpank TOV since it was half off. Currently have 1200 MSP an no idea what to buy. Tried a few things ... Comic Jumper is clearly overpriced and is not nearly as good as TP's last games. Super Meat Boy was also an awful demo. Anyone got any ideas?
  3. Anyways, I'm currently playing DeathSpank TOV. It's pretty mediocre just like the first one, so I'm glad I got it on sale (and snagged their awful attempt at 'Project 10 Dollar' while it was free for everyone).
  4. Plasma Cutter + Line Gun "trick" = Impossible mode is impossibly easy
  5. Watching Ignition is advisable. The mini-games are atrocious, the actual plot isn't amazing but it's worth it for the part at the end.
  6. Yes, I am. Alternatively: http://majornelson.com/archive/2011/01/20/coming-soon-to-the-xbox-live-marketplace-jan-20.aspx
  7. Just a heads up, Hydrophobia will be part of the Deal of the Week, for the week of January 31st. It will be reduced to 400 MSP, so definitely hold off on buying it until then.
  8. Sega was just the publisher. Obsidian holds the right to the game, so they could theoretically still create a sequel. It's a faint hope, but I'm holding on to it B) Orly? Awesome. I hope they do make a sequel (and with a different publisher that doesn't push 'em to release). I suppose they could always have Bethesda publish the sequel since they're already worked with New Vegas for them. Also, they need to change around the customization options. I found it a bit lacking. Although, having a Thorton with a beard that totally does not match his voice, is still pretty hilarious. I noticed that Sis is in your sig. G22 are my preferred faction in the game (and they're cool). Lol, I didn't think it was that big of a mismatch, I think I gave him a beard on all my characters G22 is nice and all ... but I kinda only sided with them since Sis is so cute/awesome. It's criminal she's not a romance option. Of course, a sequel could always fix that!

  10. Other people got that too?! I thought my disk was fucked up or something. "I'm Commander Spaghetti, and this is my favorite shop on the Citadel!" Ha, I'm glad I'm not alone I may have a few problems with ME2 ... but I'm damn glad they made it more polished.
  11. If ME3 has any sort of multiplayer mode, they've lost my purchase. inb4 one sale doesn't mater, no shit, I'm just sayin'
  12. Oh god ... I had the FREAKIEST death at that part. Right after the mini-cutscene where she uses Stasis, my character got frozen by it ... but never got out. I just sat there, helpless. To make it worse, every time she threw another attack at me, it would bend and contort Shepard's model like it was made of chewing gum. So after a minute or two, Shepard was a weird pile of noodles on the floor. SOOOO weird
  13. The shooting in this game seemed absolutely fine to me. The only real problems are the ones that were avoided cause I got it cheap - it's too short, little replayability, etc.
  14. Tales of Legendia is the bastard child of the series. We do not talk about it. It never happened. (It was created internally by Namco instead of the usual developer, mostly explains why it sucks)
  15. Yep! Awesome movie. Your turn
  16. "You invited them to get naked and sacrifice a small goat."
  17. Ever tried the Tales series? Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia? All pretty good, very nice combat systems. TotA and ToV have pretty good plots, ToS's is fairly cliched but it makes up for it with memorable characters. The problem for me with JRPGs is always the weird gameplay mechanics they tend to have, it's always so off-putting how specific and knowledgeable you need to be for some of them.
  18. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
  19. Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage. Stupid, yet fun.
  20. ... Guess everyone missed my post? Whatevs
