Cyber Rat
Unlike the playground one, this is a thread where you have a screenshot, video, or info about a game, but no idea what the actual game is for whatever reason. If someone helps you, be sure to give them a rep up! I saw this on Joystiq and have no idea what some games are, but look rather interesting: Games I need names of: 0:59 1:01 (looks like River City Ransom, but I've only seen the NES version of that game) 1:04 1:12 1:20 1:41 1:42 1:53 2:02 2:05 2:

arbitarty
2:02 looks exactly like bubble bobble from the amiga, that was my first instinct when I saw it. I'm unable to find any enemies that look like that though :/
TheFlyingGerbil
Does anyone know a game that was from the late eighties, probably. I think was set in a rectory (or a least a gothic house) and one of the enemies was a rat and along the bottom ran a timer that looked like a fuse leading to a round bomb. It had similar gameplay to Jet Set Willy.
Kovach_
Do you know what system was it on? It would help a lot.
TheFlyingGerbil
it was one of the computery type ones a maybe a commodore or a specturm or amstrad. I think it was an amstrad? Sorry, it was my cousin's. I think it was dark grey coloured? I'm sure that's helps(!)

If you're not lazy, go to Wikipedia, look for a list of all commodore/spectrum/amstrad games, focus on the late 80's and search for it game by game. TheFlyingGerbil
I've had a look on there, but there are a lot of systems and a lot of games for each system. I guess that means I'm lazy! Google was useless - lots of dusturbing pictures of old war injuries for some reason. Oh well, though I still remember it from all those years ago it's not like it haunts my dreams. P4: Gritty Reboot
Hydro-Thunder style game for the arcade, old 16-bit-ish graphics, it had you do these runs and then at the end of each mission you could upgrade your vehicle with weapons or speed and stuff like that. The cabinet I played it on was a covered sit-in thing with a steering wheel. Any ideas?
Strangelove
This is the thread where you remember something vaguely, but dont remember exactly what it is. We help each other out. IE: You dont know enough about something for Google to look it up for you. This isnt a game, this actually happens to me quite a bit, but if you want to make it a game, id be game. So game on. SO here we go.... Does anyone remember a PS1 game where the whole point was to walk around a mansion and set up traps to kill people chasing you? It had a few sequels. Definitely rated M. I also think the name might start with a D...or an E. Maybe. Edited May 17, 2011 by Strangelove
