SomTervo
On the other hand, if you're going underwater you only have to go down 33 feet to get an increase in pressure of one atmosphere (to two atmospheres total) and it continues to increase at one atmosphere for every 33 feet as long as you keep going down. So a major problem with tall buildings underwater like we see in Rapture is that each floor would have to be pressurized separately, because the pressures from the outside would be so different for each of them. Yeah, that's rough as fuck. I was thinking, your flying fortress would have to go really, really high to feel nasty effects of underpressurization. Columbia it is! deanb
@KS: It doesn't have to move, but it can. Which contributes to something I thought of adding into last post but didn't; of the two Columbia is the most likely to get funded due to the tactical advantages of having a floating fortress over a submerged one. Another thing I forgot to add in is the existence of the Eurofighter, a plane that technically shouldn't fly but by the power of computers it can. And as mentioned previously our structural engineering skills have come leaps and bounds in the past few decades. @Ethan: I didn't say nothing could go below 150 metres, I said specifically the Sealabs failed once they got to 150metres. (Also Rapture was roughly 2,500M below the ocean surface)

TheMightyEthan
I'm fine except that my graphics card is basically on-par with their recommended.
Mal
I'm still good as well, as expected. My GPU is just one gen or so behind the recommended. If I still had a Cross Fire setup, I would easily eat the game.
Waldorf and Statler
I'm fine because I'll be playing it on xbox

Waldorf and Statler
Well if we're gonna get snarky enjoy actually paying for it. Because... because I'm gonna rent it since I have no monies from my last internship. Gotta get a new one.
Faiblesse Des Sens
I'm going to rent it off of a torrent site.

deanb
Man, flashbacks to the old school videos. I've a feeling that you'll see that building in-game.

toxicitizen
Man, those trailers are seriously fucking awesome. I really wish that was a real documentary
toxicitizen
Am I crazy or does Booker kinda sound like Nolan North in this one?
deanb
Well in trying to work out if it was I found out Snow from FFXIII and Kai "shitty boss from nowhere" Leng from Mass Effect 3 are voiced by the same dude (he's also batman and robin). I'd guess sounding like one of the most prolific games VA while probably being cheaper to hire is a bit of a bonus skill to have.
Waldorf and Statler
I watched that trailer and all I could think to myself was If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son, you may have 99 problems but Songbird ain't one
Mister Jack
I'm probably the only person who is buying it for the ps3 specifically because I want to use my Move with it. Yes, I still like the Move. I just wish more games used it.
Strangelove
Im not buying the PS3 version specifically for Move, but I am going to use it instead of the controller. Every FPS or TPS Ive played with Move Ive enjoyed more than with a regular controller.
Hot Heart
No one uses K&M for FPSs nowadays anyway.
TheMightyEthan
I agree that, in principle, Move is superior to a controller, but in its actual execution it just drifts way too damn much. It's irritating as hell. I don't know if it's my house or what, but goddamn Nintendo's execution is better as far as pointing goes.
Mister Jack
It really depends on the game. Some use it better than others.
