Chewblaha
I remember when I was interested in joining the podcast and I was pretty much told to fuck off.
GunFlame
I guess it depends on the Podcast really, well, obviously. But if it's going to be done, I think that it shouldn't be influenced be current media and gaming stigma. Lighten up a little, talk about games. I mean, do we really need to debate games as art, or Japanese vs Western and the like? Are we not already tired of all of this stuff? I think it's a great idea to openly discuss subjects related to gaming, but to topic should be considered carefully.

Focusing too much on "intelligent debate" is a nice from topic time to time, but making it the only topic can make things a bit exhausting and stressful, and no one wants to listen to a stressed out debate over something discussed by who knows how many people. Stay casual, stress free. It'll be a lot more fun to participate in and listen to. Well, that's what I think at least. What the hell do I know? Luftwaffles
Agreed. The lightheartedness of the GiantBomb podcast (Bombcast) is why I like it so much. It doesn't make me think, it's mostly just like eavesdropping on an interesting conversation about video games.
Akuam4n
I think it should be lighthearted, short of just a chill podcast. If people like the cast, then they listen. I listened to Bungie's podcasts for so long just because they were entertaining, and only about 10% of the hour was actual news. I'm down to help if need be. Should be fun.
