I finally got around to unsubscribing from Kotaku's newsletter. A tiny box in the middle of the page asked me to state why I was doing so; this was my response.

This was a triumph.

I'm making a note here: UNSUBSCRIBED.

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

I unsubscribed now

because I can.

For the good of my inbox

Because the blog is now dead

But there's no sense crying due to dying domain,

You just keep on trying till no traffic remains

And the blogging gets done,

And your newsletter's fun,

For the people who are still subscribed

You made people angry,

You lost all our passwords and accounts

After that you made the site so ugly

Your site looks like feces

All of us knew it would backfire,

Then your pageviews crashed

And now our comments never post

Now the blogroll's hidden to the right of the line,

Site still looks like it's beta,

No wonder everyone whines,

For the Oldtaku we yearn,

But Crecente never learns,

for the people who are still subscribed

I think that I'm leaving

But sometimes I'll check the UK site

Maybe I'll find somewhere else for news too:
