TheFlyingGerbil
I didn't realise House was so popular.
deanb
Us people in the US dont have detective shows. Just crime dramas. Uh, what do you call Law & Order? You know, the show that popularized the entire genre? Wiki says Law & Order only popped up in 1990 edit: also there is a slight difference between Crime Drama n Detective Drama. Detective Drama is a whodunnit. Crime drama is a how the cops just do stuff. The Bill versus CSI for example. Don't ever compare a shit show like CSI to a show like Law & Order. I actually contrasted The Bill (which is a UK show) against CSI. Law & Order n CSI never touched each other. At least here in America, folks have Law & Order to thank for that. You'll quickly learn how much that counts for.
Battra92
I'm going to say Efrem Zimbalist Jr or Roger Smith: or those crazy cats in Hawaii: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oCySuqUnZk I'll pass on the three men living together in a houseboat in Miami, though. FMW
Movies count too, right? If so, I'm going to go back to a classic. My favorite detective is hands down Humphrey Bogart in the Maltese Falcon.
Thursday Next
Adrian Monk. If medical detectives count, Gregory House. Not a Monk fan. Not at all.
