Tonight's episode was painful. Reliving that scene where

Daenerys gets that Witch to heal Drogo. He fucking died because she insisted to get him the fucking poultice. Or is it that the Witch was sincere at this point and only used the Blood Magic later? The first book is not clear in my memory. Also, I feel like Drogo's the one that's guaranteed to die this season, judging from the current state of events and all that's gone down so far.

Well. The wound was a lot worse than this, as it was supposed to be his pec skin flapping around...but...

I forgot how the chaos starts, but Drogo dies soon after the Khal splits up and Dany is left with all the women. If I remember correctly, the wound itself was too severe to clean with common medicine, and Drogo would march on and take off the salves the witch would put on him. It just ends up festering and killing him. Only the Khalasar remains with Dany and the witch is killed after she kills Dany's baby in her.

The fire they burn her with, however, is what causes the dragon eggs to pop. Remember?

I think Faiblesse means that he is up to date with the TV show - so he doesn't need to worry about spoilers there - but because he hasn't read the books he doesn't want to inadvertently read something that hasn't yet happened in the show.

I would also appreciate this.

That makes sense... but I thought we've been hiding everything behind tags regardless, even if it happened in already-aired eps.

That's the problem, everything is in spoilers (which obviously it should be) but atm we none book reading plebs have no way of telling book and TV spoilers apart, so we have to avoid all spoilers. It looks like people (Chewblaha anyway) have started marking them, though, so it's all good.

Yes, and that's a problem when the spoilers contain both book and TV spoilers when one can be caught up on the show but not the books.

THE FOLLOWING SPOILERS ARE FROM THE BOOKS AND REGARD STUFF THAT HAS NOT AIRED YET

I'm beginning to think the rumors that

either Ned or Drogo survive

are complete bullshit.

both *must* die to set up events in the next season. My guess is that , at the most, the show will fade to black on Ned's execution leaving a cliffhanger that will be immediately resolved next season. They gotta show Drogo's death and the birth of the dragons; the promise of such a surprise is a lot more interesting than Ned losing his head after three episodes of imprisonment and being out of the game.

BOOK SPOILER

I thought Ned would die in the next episode-it's called Baelor, and he's beheaded on Baelor's sept. The preview seems to show Drogo/Dany struggling with the blood mage woman, so Drogo might die on Sunday. I hope the final episode ends with dragons hatching, then fade to black

SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW/MORE UNAIRED TSUFF

I think Drogo will die in the last ep to pave the way for the final scene with Dany and the dragons.

I think Drogo will die in the last ep to pave the way for the final scene with Dany and the dragons.

Obvious spoilers:

Well. Of course it's bullshit. Look at it. The last thing you see of Ned is he being forced to get up for no reason at all. Then nothing else from him. It's clear he's going to be put on trial in front of everyone. Drogo has to die for the Dragons to come out by the end of this season. The final shots will be Jorah falling to his knees, then a shot of Dany with her Dragons and then fade to black.

Ned dies at the end of the next episode. Drogo at the end of the last. That simple.

You can't kill off those characters at the beginning of a fucking season. This isn't 24.

Show AND BOOK spoilers:

Welp. All rumours of no Ned or Drogo death were unfounded. Hopefully this last episode will end with the dragons hatching. Although, we also need to see Jon riding off before being forced to return. Good episode though. Fuck you Joffrey.

This is what's gonna happen:

Book (apparently) spoiler:

We won't see Sansa at all. We'll see Tywin talking about how stupid Joffrey is and Cersei cry over Jaime.

As you said, we'll see Jon riding off and coming back.

Then we'll see Hoster Tully. Brynden Tully. Edmure Tully. The Mallisters. The Pipers. Every one of them. The Greatjon will give his speech. The chants will start. The last look will be zoomed in on either Robb or Catelyn's face.

Then. The Dragons. Fire and Blood. As next week's episode is called.

Well it's happening next episode. Lol.

When you said "show spoilers" we weren't sure if you meant anything that was gonna happen in season one.

Plus you needa calm down there. There's still lots of other important stuff that happens. Yes you may have read the last thing that happens and how the first book ends, though there is still a lot of stuff for you to take in from the next episode. A lot.

Get over yourself. If you don't want to read spoilers a) don't come into a thread called Game of Thrones and B) don't click spoiler tags.

ALL THE SPOILERS IN THE WORLD FOR ALL THE BOOKS AND ALL THE TV SERIES' EVER MADE DON'T CLICK IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY SPOILERS EVER:

Snape Kills Dumbledore, the narrator is Tyler Durden, Bruce Willis was a ghost, Harry was the seventh Horcrux, we still haven't met the mother, JD earns Dr. Cox's respect, they were all already dead in LOST, and you just lost the game
