Thursday Next
Book and Film Arya is my fave character. Not fave female. Just fave overall. She's ace. Precocious without being bratty. Brave but not arrogant. Vulnerable at times, but not a total drip.
Waldorf and Statler
That's the first time I heard somebody describe something as 'Ace'. Thanks Obama

Faiblesse Des Sens
That's the first time I heard somebody describe something as 'Ace'. Thanks Obama I used to see it all of the time on this forum I went to with a lot more brits.
TCP
There's forums out there with more brits than here?!?!

Thursday Next
One of my fave things about this place is that it has a manageable number of people that I feel like I actually know.
Hot Heart
Yeah, it's usually for the wrong reasons that people become recognisable on other forums.

Chewblaha
Well that sucked. As in I didn't like how it was done, at all. However... GUESS THAT MEANS JEYNE AIN'T PREGNANT. *puts thumbs in belt loops and walks off while shedding tears* Edited June 3, 2013 by Chewblaha
Mal
Its a lot more gloomy than the book.
Chewblaha
On Dany: She rebuffs Quentyn for the following reasons listed by her priority: 1) THAT INVISIBLE PERSON/INAUDIBLE VOICE TOLD HER TO BE CAREFUL. 2) He's pretty plain looking and his men are better looking. 3) SHE'S FUCKING INSANE. P4: Gritty Reboot
Thought it was well done, though the tone was different from the book version.
TCP
It was brutal and hard to watch, but the worst part for me was watching Grey Wind die. Seeing people die is one thing, but animals make sad
SkyGriever
I watch the show with my mother. As soon as The Rains of Castamere started sounding I knew shit was going down. But even having read the book I think my jaw went to the floor even faster than hers. Nothing could prepare me for this, watching it go down in the screen was just breathtaking. I just wanna go curl up in my bed and die...
Hot Heart
What the fuuuuuuuuck?! I knew things were looking too happy, but that was brutal.

Hot Heart
I take it, we should expect something to happen to old Greyjoy and young Joffrey very soon? Also, amusing: https://twitter.com/RedWeddingTears
Mr. GOH!
My favorite reaction to the Red Wedding: "So THAT'S why Tywin spent the entire season writing letters!"
Hot Heart
I don't know the provenance of this (I think I'd seen it as a general joke beforehand) but: Game of Thrones drinking game: drink until it doesn't hurt anymore. http://i.imgur.com/GhzRApw.jpg http://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/400x/21103864.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NaDBK5n.jpg Oh, and I'm missing the significance of that image, MaliciousH. Thursday Next
Was that Episode 9?
TCP
Yep. Episode 9 is always the best. Season one: Ned's Head. Season two: the Battle of Blackwater. Season 3: The Red Wedding. Season 4: Bran buy's a dirt bike to get around on.
Waldorf and Statler
Is it wrong I'm putting off watching the episode? The Red Wedding was a point in the novels I was SERIOUSLY considering stopping my read for at least a couple of months, but I continued because with a book you have the option to skim through the details and not read with detail your heart breaking. Plus it pays off because Tyrion evolves from favorite character of the majority of people to errbody's favorite littlest Batman. I guess my question is how... fast is the RW scene?
