Chewblaha
Show spoilers:   Welp. All rumours of no Ned or Drogo death were unfounded. Hopefully this last episode will end with the dragons hatching. Although, we also need to see Jon riding off before being forced to return. Good episode though. Fuck you Joffrey.   ...so in your show spoilers you put book spoilers? Thanks asshole.  Get over yourself. If you don't want to read spoilers a) don't come into a thread called Game of Thrones and B) don't click spoiler tags.  ALL THE SPOILERS IN THE WORLD FOR ALL THE BOOKS AND ALL THE TV SERIES' EVER MADE DON'T CLICK IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY SPOILERS EVER: Snape Kills Dumbledore, the narrator is Tyler Durden, Bruce Willis was a ghost, Harry was the seventh Horcrux, we still haven't met the mother, JD earns Dr. Cox's respect, they were all already dead in LOST, and you just lost the game   Dumbledore is alive, you motherfucker! NO! HE IS!  NOOOO
Chewblaha
The new tags will be  "Spoilers for upcoming episodes"  "spoilers from future books"  "spoilers from past episodes."
Nexus
The thread topic and title should be changed to "The Song of Ice and Fire books and tv series" and "Spoilers within. Enter at your own risk." Covers all the bases.
Chewblaha
The thread topic and title should be changed to "The Song of Ice and Fire books and tv series" and "Spoilers within. Enter at your own risk." Covers all the bases. Â Yes I know, I know. Â Though there are quite a few people from this forum who watch who haven't had the pleasure of reading the books yet. It's easier this way and more accommodating.
Nexus
To be fair, it's not as if I went "LOL I'M GOING TO DEFINITELY TRY TO SPOIL THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T READ THE BOOKS YET." Â It was an oversight. No need for him to be a jerk about it. A simple "look, you've spoiled the next episode for me, could you amend your spoiler label please" would've sufficed. Chewblaha
I agree. Don't get me wrong. Â I really do agree with you on that. Â Though let's just fix our labels for now.

Faiblesse Des Sens
The thread topic and title should be changed to "The Song of Ice and Fire books and tv series" and "Spoilers within. Enter at your own risk." Covers all the bases. Â So then what, we start a separate thread for the TV show up until the current episode, then merge it into a "game of thrones first season" thread next week? Â Simple solution: Just label your god damn spoilers a hell of a lot clearer and be understanding of people who haven't read the books. I really don't see any sense in labeling spoilers for the show WHEN THEY HAVEN'T HAPPENED ON THE SHOW YET. I really don't know what you were thinking. You could argue that any spoiler from the entire series is a "show spoiler" under that definition. Â It was an oversight. No need for him to be a jerk about it. A simple "look, you've spoiled the next episode for me, could you amend your spoiler label please" would've sufficed. Â Except we've already been over this in this thread. Now we're going over it again. Plus, you amending the label doesn't change what was already spoiled (which I foolishly assumed was no longer going to be a problem.) Chewblaha
Like I said: I honestly thought you meant spoilers for this season were to be put in the show. We misunderstood. Â Sorry.
Nexus
Okay. Well for what it's worth I'm really sorry, and I will definitely be more careful in future. Edited June 13, 2011 by Nexus
Mr. GOH!
What about foilers? Like when in book 3 you discover they're all really lizard people and dragons are giant humanoids with wings they enslaved?

Mr. GOH!
Â I don't think there's an Emmy for most out of place accent in a series. Â Sean Bean's getting it, if any of the actors are.
Chewblaha
I woke up late from my nap. Turned on the show to see the BEST scene of Game of Thrones appear about seventeen minutes end. That should've been one of the last scenes. Â I saw Karstark. That's half of my problem solved. That means the Greatjon is saved! Â Though I saw no Blackfish, and Martin recently said he's seen no videotapes for an audition for the Blackfish.
Faiblesse Des Sens
What scene are you referring to? Blackfish seems like an odd exclusion after reading through most of the book but I would guess is that it would have meant hiring yet another quality actor and there's the budget to worry about... Nexus
Holy fucking shit that last scene was phenomenal. Â Brilliantly made. Fucking awesome show. Can't believe it's over. Â Show spoiler and possibly nsfw picture: Â Â Â
Mr W Phallus
Man that series (season) seemed to go so quickly. Mind you that's probably something to do with the fact I watched the first seven episodes in a day. Â On the plus side, I should finish reading The Big Sleep today at which point I can make a start on the books. Probably the best Father's Day gift I've ever given. Hot Heart
What happens when Game of Thrones meets Arrested Development. Â I've not see Game of Thrones, but I'm assuming some of them are spoilers, going by the context of the quotes. http://arrestedwesteros.tumblr.com/ Â
Slagathorian
Everyone is a phenomenal actor on that show. Â Other fantasy series should look at Game of Thrones as how to do casting right. Cough* Legend of the Seeker.

He BETTER be in the second season, or I am refusing to watch the show again.

Nexus
No because you'll cry about spoilers for ASOS and AFFC if we accidentally do it. Â Basically it's hard to talk about the next three books in isolation because events in ACOK are intrinsically linked to the rest of the series.
