I'll be reviewing the theories, again. Dontos and the Queen of Thorns... I'm shutting up for now. Even my speculations can give things away.

Regarding this...

Jamie was never at the Purple Wedding in the books. This will change up some stuff regarding his story. Also notice how he called Joffery by his name instead of "Your Grace". I'm not sure what he is feeling then... it could be for his son, having another king die on his watch, something else or a combination of various things.

Either way, this will be the wild card of the season.

On a side note... they really made Joffery go out with such a cunty bang. With one show, Joffery insulted pretty much everyone... well besides Cersei and other lunatics. Also from what I've heard so I'm not sure if it is true but some/most of the actors/actresses improvised this scene. They were not told what was coming.

I think they purposely made Joffrey act like the absolute biggest cunt possible in his final episode so that his eventual death would be so cathartic that it's better than sex. I know it sure worked for me. He was such a dick to so many people that it was actually starting to stress me out. It was like watching a marathon of The Office, just so awkward and frustrating and cringetastic. I couldn't take it by the end. I felt like I was losing my mind.

And then he chokes on vomit and bleeds out of all his orifices and dies and ahhhhhh bliss...

They? George RR Martin both wrote this episode and the books.

Btw, in case you haven't noticed by now, if George RR Martin is the writer for the episode one of the characters is very very fucked.

Anyways, they've changed some stuff on the book relating to this scene, so I'm wondering how some of it will play in the long run. It wasn't completely "hey look at how much of a dick Joffrey is" in the books once all was said and done.

All of you saying Joffrey is the worst character in the story (as far as being a d-bag goes) are all wrong. The show has done something incredibly stupid: Made Ramsay into comical relief when he is, IN FACT, the most vile character in the fucking story.

From fucking up the burning of Winterfell to his behavior at the Dreadfort, the people watching the show have come to see Ramsay as "someone who is evil, but he's hilarious."

Ramsay hadn't really had the chance to do much except torture Theon until recently, which seemed "okay" at the time because a lot of people probably still hated Theon for what he did.  Now that Ramsay is out and about, though, I think people will start to understand how depraved he is.

I see Joffery and Ramsay to be similar characters. They're both sick bastards (Ramsay more than Joffery) but only Joffery is a cunt for this reason: His cruel actions have no reason behind it or at least not something that sounds reasonable (Pretty much everything besides "Just because"). The only time I recall seeing a good reason for one of Joffery's actions was him ordering...  (Not sure if the show went over it)

Bran's assassination.

He tried to impress or gain some acknowledgement from Robert. Everything else was him being a cunt. Contrast this with Ramsay actions. His reasons are mostly, oddly enough, similar to Joffery's only reasonable action... to gain the approval of his dad (Roose). However, that is not the reason I think that people like him more than Joffery.

Its Theon. Theon the backstabbing son of a bitch, who's actions to, oh hey, gain the acceptance of his dad and family caused Winterfell to burn and in ways caused Robb's campaign to go to shit which led to the Red Wedding. Most show watchers (Hell, book readers too) would wish more than death to Theon and well, they got it and then some with Ramsay dealing Theon. Theon isn't even Theon anymore. He's Reek and that rhymes with meek.

Hopefully soon we'll see more of Ramsay depravity and then maybe show watchers can say "I want off of this revenge train...".

I can accept Jaime being in King's Landing during the last few episodes but this is quite the change. The dynamics between him and Cersei is changed so how Jamie acts will change accordingly. I just can't really understand the rational behind this change.

Blue balls I suppose.

I guess I can see this as an even more unstable version on how his relationship with Cersei burns.

What the fuck. Theories shattering last scenes.

Was that the Night's King or one of his men!?

It has long been assumed that Craster's sons were converted to Whitewalkers but I don't think we ever had a hint that there's another layer to the Whitewalkers.

Oh man. This is the beginning of the dropping of information due to GRRM's slowness.

If that is truly the case, I may have to abort the series all together. I'd rather finish the books before the tv show.

Good luck, if TWOW is a year or two away then ADOS is probably 5-7 years away, at GRRM's current pace. There'll be spoilers all over the place.

I'm glad the producers aren't slowing down just for GRRM's sake. I'd rather read this stuff in the books, yes, but we can't expect them to stall. I'm also glad they're changing some things, like the whole Bran storyline this past week, and his potential collision with Jon. As a book reader, if nothing else, it keeps it interesting.

Was Jon ever that close to Bran? My memories seems to recall their relationship were more like Jon with Sansa. He was a true Stark to Robb and Arya but seemed more distant to Sansa.

This change is quite a thing. Hell, Hordor got stabbed in the leg. That got to have an effect later on.

Overall, I'm happy with the changes since I'm not a purist. For example, imagine how ridiculous would it be if Darrio had his three-pronged, blue beard and golden mustache?

I always thought they were fairly close, didn't he ask Tyrion to do something nice (the cripple person horse saddle) for Bran? It's been awhile since I read AGOT or watched season 1 but I think they were as close as a 7 year old and 14 year old brothers can be expected to be.

That was far worse than I'd imagined.

Oh man. I knew about the CRUNCH but I never processed it as a completely SMASHED skull. In my mind when I was reading, it was a nice drawn out fight. Neither the Red Viper or the Mountain had an advantage eventually though, Oberyn won out but... god damn the screams. That crunch. Well done.

I'm personally going to remember Ayra's laugh. That part was golden. As for the trial... yeah. It's the 2nd or 3rd time that our hopes and dreams got smashed.

With that all said, I'm dreaming of season 5 already.

You don't kill a Prince of Dorne without shit happening. The Sand Snakes and the whole of Dorne will weep and seethe. Fun times.

I wonder why House Martell is my favorite great house...
