deanb
I don't know anything about this show except what sorta happens in the first two episodes and that the writer still uses DOS. It's like who will die first. Tyrion, George, DOS PC? Sorry I felt kind of left out. Stavro Mueller Beta is a night club not a planet. Its street number is 42. Where will it all end?

Mal
I read an interview where the director of the finale said that Lady S was never planned for the 4th season, and that the writers aren't sure they're even going to bring her into the show next season. The term 'Zombie Murdering Spree' was used IIRC. To be sure, not having this in season 5 would be heresy. Another problem is at the cave... with the damn skeletons. I'm positive that it was mentioned that you cannot bring back skeletons. The small amount of flesh the skeletons had left is really stretching it. Looked sweet but that is a problem. deanb
This is a much better VFX breakdown than what I posted earlier (which seems to have since been taken down) Behold, Casterly Rock! Who has two thumbs and dislikes Ser Oberyn?

Hot Heart
This was linked as a humorous thing but... http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/2cp9ol/hello_its_sean_bean_a_legend_on_legends_ama/cjhnewf R + L = J confirmed?!
madbassman39
AHA! Before I saw the R + L = J video, I had already suggested just by the actions of Ned that John was probably his sisters... although I almost was convinced that he was a love child between his sister and Richard who were supposed to get married at some point too. deanb
Animated scenes of GoT. Maybe something some of you will enjoy. Reminds me a bit of Dragon Age Journeys style.

Mal
The World of Ice and Fire is dropping in less than two weeks. Super pumped. When it comes to universes I love, nothing compares to the background lore.
TCP
Season 5 spoilers (possibly Winds of Winter spoilers): As a book reader, I just want to say: oh thank god.
Mr. GOH!
Leaked copy of the Season 5 trailer from the IMAX screenings of old episodes. Looks like changes from the book continue to increase. And I am 100% okay with that, despite enjoying the books immensely.
TCP
Likewise. A straight adaption of the 4th and 5th books probably wouldn't have been great TV. I'm also looking forward to the book purists losing their goddamn minds. Book spoiler: Although, I'm hoping my boy Aegon VI doesn't get cut. EDIT: Also, great use of that David Bowie song... hopefully HBO just officially release the trailer soon. Mal
For those who follow Dunk and Egg... we're getting a collection of the three novellas! With illustrations on nearly every page! http://grrm.livejournal.com/406858.html I can finally get to read it in my contained package. Mal
Warning. There is a Season 5, Episode 8 spoiler going around. At this point it is hard to tell if it is real or not since the show and the books are diverging. Still, it is pretty badass... I expect no less from one of my book favorites. deanb
See maybe it's just from being in the UK but I thought it was somewhat obvious of "The Wall" that's keeping out the northern "white walkers" being Hadrians wall keeping out the scots. Much of the story being about the War of the Roses, between the House of Lancaster (Lannister) and House of York (Stark). Since I grew up in Yorkshire, the white rose emblem is nearly everywhere, from council letterheads to names of pubs, as a kid it's not a thing you realise is very specific to your region of England.
TheMightyEthan
I did notice the glaring similarities to the War of the Roses, but hadn't made the connection to Hadrian's Wall.
Thursday Next
Except of course that Hadrian's is about 3ft high dry-stone. Not miles and miles of ice.
