Kx2
It has occurred to me that there is a serious lack of Mech based SRPGs being made. Namely, there aren't any. Why the fuck not? I've been playing through FM3 nonstop again lately on my PSP wishing someone would make a new game. As much as Front Mission 4 was a combination of steps backwards and forwards for the series, there are now no tactics games where you can build and customize war machines to do battle and gain xp. This topic is also meant to get the uneducated but curious fools to look up some Front Mission 3 videos on youtube and then buy the PSN version. FMW
The premise of an SRPG in which units can be extensively customized appeals to me greatly. That's why FF Tactics is fun for me, that's why I enjoy Fire Emblem. It seems like a game in which you literally controlled every component part (or at least all the important ones) of your units seems like even more of a good thing. Right now, my gaming weapon of choice is the DS (for the previously mentioned SRPGs). However, I am an open minded fellow. If Square-Enix announces a new Front Mission strategy game that won't be too intimidating to a newcomer, I'll probably buy it.
