100 Rogues

I actually got this recommendation from Kotaku *ducks to avoid bricks*. But, the game 100 Rogues is pretty sweet! So as to avoid any spoilers, let describe the features in light detail.

 

You are a character on a mission from the church. You battle through dungeons. You level up and add skills. You find items that help your character, like swords, axes, armor, potions, bows, arrows, bowling balls. By that last noun, you can tell the game has a little humor.

 

The best part is the level design. Each time you enter a level, the game first has to create the level. No two walkthroughs on the levels will be the same. The items you find each time playing through may not be the same.

 

The challenging part: The game has only one life. You die, you start over. Just like classic arcade games used to do.

 

Be warned, the title isn't real long to play, but it's fun during the short time you play it. And, being a touch screen game, the controls aren't always accurate for those of us fatties whose fingers are also fat.
