TheRevanchist
bIjeghbe'chugh vaj bIHegh. Chewie will never surrender. Neither will I, unless you really want me to. Then I might, if that is okay with you.

TheRevanchist
That's odd you bring up the trouble with tribbles. I was playing KoTOR, again, and noted the similarity of the gizka and the tribbles. Both on board ships and the ships get infested with the damn things. Now, gizka, I would just as soon kill. They make cute noises, but they don't come in cool colors like the tribbles do.
Thorgi Duke of Frisbee
Star Wars all the way. When I was 12, I could recite A New Hope verbatim. I haven't watched it in a while, but I bet I could do it again if I bothered purchasing a copy.

TheRevanchist
Last night I saw the trailer for the new Star Trek movie. The image of Spock appearing to scream in the commercial feels so out of sorts. Kinda turned me off a little. Conversely, I read this morning that John Williams is going to do the score for SW Ep VII, which made me sport wood. His movie scores are some of the best you will hear, especially his SW scores. TheMightyEthan
John Williams wrote the soundtrack to our childhood.
deanb
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-22364373 A piece from BBC chatting with JJ Abrams about the two. John Williams will leave a void in films when he hangs up his hat. His soundtracks just somehow fit the films so well.
deanb
Also started my housemate on Star Wars last week, only done New Hope so far. Using the Machete Order, which as we've only done New Hope so far can't say if it is a better way to watch in practice or not. Star Wars is one of those films that kinda proves that knowing spoilers isn't a terrible idea, for one she wouldn't have giggled at Luke calling Liea pretty otherwise. (Also "aww, there's no sofa in the garbage"). We ended up watching the three Robot Chicken Star Wars specials after too.
TheMightyEthan
How the fuck did I never notice that Riker always steps over the chair like that? I have watched every episode of that show approximately 3.5 billion times.
