iOS Games To Avoid

There are so many bad games out there. Here is one to avoid:

Fragger

You sling grenades around, like an Angry Birds. But the sound isn't that cool. And the gameplay is more annoying. And it really wants to be Angry Birds, but lacks the fun. Avoid it, unless you are really, really bored and are trapped in a room for years on end with nothing better to do, including picking lint out of your belly button and using poo like clay to make ceramics.

If we listed every bad iOS game this thread would be eternal. For every great iPhone or iPad game there are fifty shitty ones and ten shit knock-offs of that good one.

True. The one I pointed out was a top seller. Sometimes, one catches your eye because it blows shit up. There is obvious shovelware. My focus statement should have been clearer, as I mainly want to point out the bad ones that people still spend money on.

I remember Kotaku had an article on a game called Angry Birds which was 10 dollars for a game of find the ball in the 3 cups. I guess this game is good for finding the stupid people of the world out.

herp derp i hate something because it's popular

I was talking about a knockoff. Sorry for the confusion.

@Mister Jack: See above. That is what I was referring to, but 10 dollars.

Minotaur Rescue may not be one to avoid, but it's one to beware of.

It's a floaty retro type space shooter where you have to shoot asteroids and pick up floating minotaurs. There is a "sun" in the middle of the screen that draws you in with gravity. The big sticking point is the controls - you touch and drag anywhere on the screen to move - the smallest drag will turn your ship in the direction dragged, and larger movements will move you at various speeds... So it's extremely wonky to try to control - need to shoot an asteroid? Just smash into it at full speed and die! Err... I meant to turn and shoot it. Hey, a minotaur to rescue! I'll just aim at it and... shoot myself straight into the sun! Ok, next life - I'm starting to get sucked into the sun, so I'll just aim away, and... ok, that boost didn't do anything and I'm about to die, one more try - WHAM. Into an asteroid like a bullet!

The graphics and sound are retrolicious, but even though I bought it, I deleted it. It was just too frustrating. It's hit and miss though - I'm sure some would love it.
